DO NOT BUY HERE - UNBELIEVABLY SLEAZY
I ordered a towel bar, a robe hook and a toilet paper dispenser online. Their website said all items were in stock. They charged my credit card $132.22 immediately. Four days later when I was expecting to receive the items, I got an email stating all the items were backordered four weeks. After more waiting, I got a telephone message on my desk from "Kyle" stating the items were "discounted" and he would "hold my refund to see if I wanted anything else". I called and Kyle was unavailable. I spoke with whoever answered the phone and he respoke Kyle's message and told me the items were "discontinued" by the manufacturer and were now unavailable (they're apparently available at other websites). I asked if they'd charged my card and he said "We charge the cards as soon as we take the order". That apparently means they "charge the cards" before they even find out if they have or can get the product they advertise as "in stock". I demanded an immediate refund and he told me in a smug southern accent that I'd already received a refund (although Kyle's message stated otherwise). He told me I'd get an email confirmation with the details. It's four hours later and I never got the email and my credit card company does not have the refund. I've disputed the charge. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A HASSLE TO DEAL WITH FOR NO RESULT
Update: I finally got an email confirming my refund ..after they read this review. Read their response below. They only charged my credit card $133 for nothing for four days. Bottom line. No company should charge your credit card until they ship. The best part? They still have the items that they're unable to get available for sale on their website! Pop your credit card number in for 5 days of fun with the fellas. Where's the priority here? I'd spend a few moments removing these unavailable items from the website before taking time to respond to my review. I bought the items at Amazon and eBay Thursday evening and I had tracking numbers Friday. Should have done that in the first place. I'd already have the bathroom done. Lesson learned. I'll post an update when I finally see the credit on my account.
Final Update: OK, my refund posted to my account on Nov 8th. The transaction date was Nov 5, so the rep was obviously lying on the 4th when he told me the refund was already made. So if I had bought these items with a debit card and if I was of a bit more modest means, I would have been hurting a bit between paychecks waiting for my money back ..which by the way was taken from my account for nothing and certainly without my consent (especially since they didn't have the stuff). Anyway, I got the items from Amazon and the the eBay company and it appears that they shipped straight from Kohler ..so who knows. One final note: Two of the three items they couldn't get me are still for sale at the NBS website on the evening of Nov 18. Go figure.

“I do apologize for you being displeased with our service on the 3 Kohler items you ordered from us. Our site states call for availabilty on the chrome and brass finish because we do not stock it here. We did not have it at any of our warehouses so we placed an order with Kohler and the normal lead time from them is 3-4 weeks which we emailed you as soon as we found out. Once the order was placed they let us know that the finish you ordered was discontinued. This was the day after we emailed you so we followed up with a phone call to let you know and see if you would like to change the finish or if you needed a refund. When we were unable to talk to you we issued a full refund. We do everything we can to let you know this information as soon as possible. The time between the sale and full refund was 4 business days.”
