Outstanding. I had the very hard to obtain Sony Nex 7 on order at a number of vendors in the US, including Amazon and Adorama, since early October. Floods in Thailand destroyed the factory, and the release date kept getting pushed out.

So imagine my surprise when I suddenly see an ad from DigitalRev for the camera - in stock! Okay, so it was about 20% more expensive, but with an anticipated arrival date somewhere in April for the other vendors, I decided to give it a bash. I had some back and forth (via email) with a few of their customer support people, who were excellent - they informed me that shipping would be delayed a few days because of Chinese New Years.

And sure enough, last Thursday I received my shipping notification, I tracked the package from the distribution facility in Hong Kong all the way to my little dirt road north of New York, and voila - by midday Friday it was in my hands.

Final anecdote: I went into the Sony store on Madison Avenue in Manhattan to get a spare battery. The store staff nearly fell over each other when they saw the camera - it turns out to have been THEIR first sighting of a Nex 7 in the wild! They even borrowed the camera to take photographs of it in the store next to other Nex models.
