UPS - United Parcel Service has damaged almost every single package I have ever received from them. Not to mention that they don't even ring the doorbell, they literally just throw the package on my concrete doorstep and take off.

They once delivered a bottle of Olive Oil... just tossed it down it on my doorstep... it broke open from the fall and leaked Olive Oil all over my concrete doorstep. UPS - United Parcel Service permanently ruined a very expensive slab of almost brand new concrete, which is right in front of my front door. Nice!

Note: Olive Oil bottles have very thick glass, you have to really toss one to break it. Just look at one next time you're food shopping.

Many other times, I have received torn open packages, parts missing from falling out of the tears, other parts severely damaged, etc. UPS - United Parcel Service actually once managed to damage a heavy duty wooden work dolly that was rated at 1,000 pounds! I don't think I could damage that thing if tried to!

Because of UPS - United Parcel Service, tomorrow I am spending yet ANOTHER morning, re-packing an item, writing out labels and forms, shipping it, paying to ship it, contacting the shipper, telling them what happened.... then following up and waiting for my refund... Merry Christmas to you too UPS!

I don't like writing bad reviews, but UPS - United Parcel Service is so far over the top with rotten, careless service, that it's almost a civil duty for me to warn others about them!

Conversely, I have never had one single problem with the US Postal Service or FedEx. Every single package they ever delivered was literally perfect:

Just got a great deal on a great camera and some accessories for it...

The packing was almost a work of art!

It even came a day early!

Save yourself a world of trouble, buy from B&H Photo, ship it FedEx... and enjoy!

VERY, VERY BAD experience with Free Trade Photo (A.K.A. FTP Video - http://www.ftpvideo.net).

I am literally out hundreds of dollars... not to mention all the time, aggravating phone calls and gas used in attempting to get things right. To no avail, I just plain lost :(.

As you can see, normally I don't write bad reviews. In fact, I much prefer to write positive ones. However, I work very hard for my money and my loss of all that hard earned money has made me very sad.

I feel that the business practices of Free Trade Photo are not in the best interest of the trusting consumer.

My recommendation for photo, video, audio, etc. equipment is B&H Photo-Video-Pro Audio (http://www.bhphotovideo.com) reviewed right here at ResellerRatings.com, rated at a consistent 9.5 and above: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/B_H_Photo_Video_Pro_Audio

Thank you to Coleen of Bank of America's credit card dispute resolution department for at least giving me back some of my money. Although, it was unfortunately at Bank of America's expense (and therefore, all of our expense), due to the fact that the item was purchased using their credit card. Bank of America just gave me some credit back because of my good customer history with them and when they saw what Free Trade Photo (A.K.A. FTP Video - http://www.ftpvideo.net) did to me.

My opinion of Free Trade Photo is so negative, that I can't even put it into words that are being read on a public forum.

This is a seriously excellent company to do business with! They made a very slight human error in my order and their customer service response was far beyond the call of duty, in terms of effort and compensation! They probably lost money to make sure that I would become a loyal customer! I am definitely a lifetime customer after my amazing experience with them!

Aside from that, their prices are more than fair, their product choices (what they choose to sell to the consumer) are only quality pieces and the product descriptions on their website are exactly accurate.

In other words, they don't offer fancy products that will cause one difficulty in use. In fact, quite the contrary, they sell what works well at an extremely fair price, especially considering the completely hassle free way that they do business. I mean no headaches, nothing... you know exactly what you're getting, the price is at or below what any other shop is offering the product for... and the customer service is priceless!

If you have need for anything that they offer, buy with complete peace of mind. They are so fast and consumer sensitive, that I am going to go ahead and order a few more items!

They treated my first order like I was a long-term, multi-thousand dollar customer! A+++

Wireless Desktop Probs, try Belkin's Powerline Kit!

My wireless adapter was always horribly intermittent. Even when it worked, on a 30mbs connection, I was lucky to get 4mbs consistently. Now I'm at a very consistent 20+mbs and I actually have the box to my computer routed through a surge protector (APC brand), which is supposed to slow it down.

Best $150 I've spent since I got my comp. It can be gotten for a bit less (see below), but I was watching my bald spot grow as my connection just got worse and worse, so I just ran out and grabbed the last one in stock. When they say set-up is a snap, that was an understatement. Under 5 min., including un-boxing and resetting the 128 bit encryption was all it took.

**** UPDATE ****
One of the units burned out in about 9 months of heavy use. Bought another set for a reduced $100, now I have a spare. Still worth it if I go though about $50 a year or so. Might even keep my eye on Amazon to see if they get even cheaper... and I'll grab yet another set.

I'll make this simple and honest...

Had a few humps with Digital Storm, but nobody's perfect...

There's probably even a few $25K(+) 64 core Cray CX1s that had teething pains...

The bottom line is that they CALLED me back FAST and STAYED on the situation, until a new deal was struck and everything was as straight as two temporarily opposing parties can get...

Keep in mind that they don't keep all the money you pay for the machine. Parts, equipment, rent/mortgage, payroll, insurance, gas, electricity, phones, etc. aren't free...

If you price out their AMAZING "Power and Value" unit:

(with all the assembly, testing, shipping, etc)
...I'd say that they might even be LOSING money on it!
(If you're going to buy a high end system, better grab that one quick, I did! They probably can't keep that promotion going forever!)

Bottom line, even though I was very difficult to deal with and I'm sure that their work days are no cake walk... They stuck it out with me!

Haven't received my replacement machine yet, but I am VERY confident in this company and I am POSITIVE that no matter what happens, they will stand behind their product and respond very quickly to anything that might turn up.

Save yourself a lot of aggravation and buy a Digital Storm!
