I ordered a pair of Clark's wave shoes in November. A week after they arrived, before I had a chance to wear them, I had a brain bleed that required two bran surgeries, and was not supposed to live. Well, I made it, but it took a long time to come back from it and, I was hospitalized for almost a month, and then another month at rehab facility to be able to walk and talk normally again, plus all of the other problems associated with the bleed and surgeries. I am just getting my memory working better now, and I noticed that I had these new, unworn shoes in the shoe box in my closet, and the slip inside said they were from Shoebuy. I went online with the help of my son, and found the order. He was helping me prepared the return, but on the slip website under my account to it said to call them call. When I got customer service on the phone, I told them I need to return the unworn shoes, and I was told they had a 60 return policy. I have always bought from Zappos and Online shoes before, who have 365 day return policies, and great customer service, and I thought Shoebuy had the same policy. I told the nice girl on the other end about my situation, and asked if they could make an exception since I have been out of work for so long, and can not work still. She went to talk to a supervisor, but when she got back on, I was told they couldn't take them because the warehouse would reject them. She did take 10% off, and 25% off a future order, but I told her that I wouldn't order from them again if they were this heartless. I could get a lette from my doctor, but it probably wouldn't help. I was crying by the end of our conversation and barely able to talk because of the stress of everything that has happened, and all of the bills I now have and can't wrok to pay. I'm struggling to keep my house, and I can't even get a refund on these shoes that are too big. They've never been worn. I will stick with Zappos and Online Shoes from now on. I don't need anymore stress. I can't believe a company would be this short sighted. Look at all of these bad reviews. Surely they must read them and realize they are losing repeat business, and new business if people read reviews like these. I'll never buy from them again, and tell everyone I know not to. I'm gong to post this story on my FB page. I hope it gets passed around so people can see what a bad company this is. It tok me an hour to right this because of my physical problems, but it was worth it to get it off my chest and worn others.
