I have to admit, I was surprised when I first heard about this online store. However, due to all the good reviews I read on Resllerratings.com and from several forums that I frequent, I decided to take my chances and buy from RJtech.com.
I am definitely NOT disappointed. Even though the website itself looks a bit plain, it works just fine, and once you make your order, everything is confirmed and an email is sent to you right away. It took a couple of days for my eCheck to clear from paypal, but once that was taken care of, then it's about 2-3 days for putting the laptop together, and it took about one week for me to receive my laptop as ordered. (Ordered on 09/01/2009, and received my laptop on 09/15/2009)
The customer service at RJTech.com is bar none, one of the best I've ever worked with anywhere. Any question I sent via email was answered within a day at most, and once I ordered my laptop, RJTech.com kept me informed every step of the way, and actually called me in person, with a real operator at the other end, to confirm the details of my order; to say I was impressed is understating my surprise when I received that call.
When I received the laptop, the packaging is very good, with no parts touching the side of the box, and comes with bag (ironic, the only bag I've found so far that actually fits a 18.4" laptop), and comes with all the accessories needed to install the HDDs, drivers CD, concise laptop manual, and DVD program suite CD. The laptop itself is in perfect condition, with no physical damage to the laptop whatsoever, and as far as I can tell, no dead pixels on the screen. It was simple to add the HDD, RAM, and OS myself, and then I was on my way to enjoying my computer.
Overall, I am VERY impressed with RJTech.com. If the prices weren't already extremely low (they allow you to strip the laptop down to almost barebones for price savings), any extra money I would have to spend would have been worth it, due to friendly customer service, and the quality of the product and the timeliness that it was sent with; additionally, I was lucky that my computer also had free shipping with it too.

To elaborate, It began when I ordered a ProStar M570TU from their website, customized it, and had the order finalized on Sep. 7th, a Sunday.<br><br>I understand that it might take a while to get the payment from the credit card company and get the computer underway, but by the 10th (Wednesday), the order was still unprocessed and I have received no communications from the Discountlaptops to why my order was being delayed, so I had to proactively email them, and after 1-2 days, we got the details of shipping vs. billing address worked out. Afterwards, the payment was worked out, and my order was underway.<br><br>However, after nearly 2 weeks of \u0022In Production,\u0022 my laptop still has not been shipped to my house, and near the latter portion of these couple weeks, I have sent several emails asking about when my order was going to be complete and shipped, and they have replied with empty promises of \u0022next week,\u0022 or \u0022this week,\u0022 or \u0022today, or tomorrow\u0022 with no specific dates, and no reason why it was delayed.<br><br>Fortunately, after 3 weeks of waiting, I was contacted by DiscountLaptops about my order, and they let me know that the reason my order was delayed was due to problems with the manufacturer and the shipping for my laptop has been upgraded to 3 days shipping.<br><br>Update: <br><br>I have received my laptop on Oct. 6, 2008 and after unpacking and turning it on, looks like everything works, so I\u0027m happily typing this update now on it.<br><br>Overall, while I believe that they should have kept me updated on the status of my laptop, I\u0027m glad that it has finally came.
