Ordered a 'woven satin dress' and knew it was a risk ordering from China. Realised that there may be import duty, and they make it clear that this must be paid by the buyer. They were very fast in making the dress and shipping it. However, I got charged duty, VAT, and handling fees, which was much more than I anticipated (shipping to UK). This is worth bearing in mind if you are on a tight budget.
Now for the dress. Looks like the picture, fully lined, great fit, and the sewing is good. However, the fabric was disappointing and not as advertised; this was such a shame as the dress was lovely. I complained about the fabric and was offered a full refund/new dress, or 50% refund and I could keep the dress. I was impressed that they refunded the money very quickly; shame about the fabric, but can't fault how they acted to resolve the problem.
