I ordered my glasses on December 11th and here it is January 9th and I am being told there was a production error and I need to wait another 6 to 7 days. About 3 weeks after my order was placed I began inquiring of the online chat reps when I could expect the glasses. The answer was always the same "they are in production and should ship this week". I have a trip coming up and need the glasses ASAP but I guess a one month lead time is not enough. Now I am being told that I must wait another 6 to 7 days. I called and talked to a customer service rep and he said my order had been moved to the head of the line and it would take 3 to 4 days to produce. I told him I was no glassologist but even I know it doesn't take that long to make a pair of glasses. Anyway, I am not a happy customer but we will see if they do as they say and expedite production, express mail the glasses and refund my shipping. I would have appreciated some more straight forward answers from the customer service reps.

Follow up ... I just received a call saying they will send the glasses to my alternate address. So we shall see, it appears they are making an effort to do the right thing

Unfortunately, the frame which you ordered was back-ordered which caused this delay, but we would accept the fact that you should have been informed about this which was not done. We would also like to inform you that the refund of your shipping charges has been posted already and the glasses have been shipped out as well on your provided address which should be delivered to you in a few days.
