This company delivered my range (yes they managed to charge my credit card correctly!) to Washington DC instead of Washington MA and then blamed me for giving them the wrong zip code, a zip code that I have never used in my life! Then they charged me for the shipping costs they had incurred. When I protested, and tried to cancel the order, they told me they would charge me none-the-less for the shipping. Intimidated, I agreed to pay the charges and take delivery. But I told them I would file a complaint with Better Business and pursue the return of my money through small claims court. So the next time I called to try and find out when they were going to deliver (as it was even "late" for the second delivery--this time to the correct address), they told me they were refusing to sell or deliver the range to me, and would however charge me $300.00 in shipping costs!
Is it not illegal to refuse to sell a product in an act of retaliation? I am an elderly woman and it feels very badly to be treated like this. And I cannot afford the $300.00 cost for nothing. They have mistreated me. Bad business.”
