The good news is that the price was excellent and these folks are blazing fast. I had a shipment tracker number in just an hour or two - and the phone was at my door 36 hours after that. That's because these phones ship FedEx overnight top priority - out of Hong Kong.

The ship fee reveals only in the checkout process and it's $40 per phone, no other options. Ok, I suppose, since any other method would take weeks or months.

The phone was indeed straight-up NIB, unlocked, etc.

The not-so-good news is that I called repeatedly for two days before the order to confirm availability and they never once answered the phone.

Also the packaging was stickered "Ar-En Version." What that meant was that my new phone's keypad has both English and Arabic characters on it. Lovely. I'll have to try to source a replacement 'pure English' keypad and do some brain surgery on the phone.

Other that the glitches noted above, good deal.

Phone listed as available on website, and allowed me to order it, but turned out to actually be OUT OF STOCK in the color I ordered (black).

Website ordering glitched in process and triggered early fraud shutdown at my bank.

Communication about the out-of-stock issue was rather confused. Seller left voicemail (apparently he was going to ask if I would accept an alternate color) but never actually said there was a problem - or even why he had called.

Seller did not once answer phone during my repeated attempts to return that call over next two business days.

Meanwhile, I received emails stating my order was indeed processing.

At the end of the second day, I discovered my order was canceled by checking my order status at website ... and when the webpage for the product IN SILVER had been footnoted as to black not being available.

Two weeks later, the website still shows availability in black.

All this did transpire rather quickly however, within those two business days, and the amount of hold that Aurora had on my credit card was released promptly.
