I bought a door intercom system online but only received half the package a few days later. I then spent exactly 1 month trying to get the rest of the product. I was told several times that it would be shipped immediately. When it didn't show up, I would call only to find out that it had not yet been shipped. I finally cancelled the order after a month and was assured by "customer service" that I would get a full refund including shipping. So far, that hasn't happened.
I will never buy another product from SmarthomeUSA.com. This company is in no way affiliated with Smarthome.com. However, I think having a similar name allows them a free ride on the good reputation and service offered by Smarthome.com. Just my humble opinion.
UPDATE- Well it has been 7 weeks and I still haven't received my refund of $205.00 from SmarthomeUSA. I finally did order the part from a different company and it's been installed and working for about 2 weeks, now. If something doesn't change pretty soon, I'll have to resort to small claims court to get my money back.
Buyer beware! Save yourself the headache. Don't EVER buy anything from SmarthomeUSA.
