On March 11th I ordered an Ultimate Lockpick interface from Autotoys. 1 week later contacted them because I received no shipping info and no product yet. Told me product was on back order. Finally receive 3 weeks later. Wrong product. After contacting autotoys multiple times(I have 34 emails to prove it)about it, still there is no resolution...over 5 weeks later. I contacted the manufacturer of the product, and was told autotoys ordered the wrong product. I have not gotten a response from them since April 4 2012. I consider myself a nice forgiving guy, and would have been happy if they fixed the situation even a month after ordering, but this is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor, don't order anything from them. I am in this for $200 and I am not going away!
“There was a mixup on the manufacturer end when the product was manufactured. We will take responsibility for it. We have given the customer the ability to return the product to us. He has been refunded in full, and he will be shipped the correct version and then have the opportunity to then pay for it (his funds were not held in the exchange process) and he will pay when the correct part is shipped to him. The production of this unit was custom made, and we were not part of it. We apologize for any inconvenience this customer may have experienced, and we are trying to make it right.”
