Scam, scam, scam!!! If you were smart enough to check rating on of this company you will notice that it's a pure scam. They charge your credit card, but never even attempt to ship anything. I ordered my stuff a month ago. Order status says "Order Entered". Card was charged immediately and amount was actually higher than invoiced.
I'm opening dispute with my credit card.
Cannot believe I made a mistake of ordering from a company without checking here first...

As usually, great service, and super quick shipment (probably because I'm in the same state). I got lowest price on my last 2 orders compared to anywhere online! I love shopping at B&H. I shop there in person and now online. Before I used to buy just photo equipment and lenses, but now I'm buying stuff from LCD TVs to tutorial DVDs.

I ordered Curtis Mathes Blu-ray Disc Player from them because they had what seems to be a great deal on a Blu-Ray player. Player arrived in acceptable amount of time however as I discovered some time later it was a horrible product. It will not play some of the new Blu-Ray movies like "Australia" and as I found out these players need firmware update once in a while. Well there was not new firmware available. Curtis Mathes seems like a very small company which probably doesn't have resource to these updates frequently. Besides that player lags horribly (I mean you have to wait about 2 minutes to load the title), it doesn't allow you skip any previews and if you stop it will not resume. I decided to return this piece of garbage and get a decent Sony unit. However Meijer was very uncooperative. They basically read me policy from their website (in real time) and said there's nothing that they can do.

Ordered a keyboard case on 12/11/2008, payed with PayPal. Didn't get any shipping notification or status update after about a week. Wrote to them asking about the status, and they told me that it wasn't shipped. Waited until Dec. 23rd, and contacted them again. Got a reply that item is out of stock. Great, they couldn't have notified me earlier? I canceled the order and got my money back.

Real nightmare. Ordered laptop, thought got a great deal. Never received it (someone else accepted (stole) it). Dell issued a replacement order. That order got canceled for unknown reason. I called few times, spend hours on the phone with "indian" support, got a lot of apologies. Second order was issued. Then it got canceled again after couple of weeks. Now I see new order has been issued, but with the wrong parts! I payed extra for faster HDD and Vista Premium, instead I'm getting lower end parts and Basic Vista. Called again, got nowhere. Feeling extremely frustrated the by whole issue. Don't know if I ever receive my laptop :( It's been almost a month since my original order. Please everyone STAY AWAY!

I used to love NewEgg, for great prices, super fast shipping and great service overall. However it seems that they start going down the hill recently. I ordered a plain PCI (DIAMOND X1300PCI256SB Radeon X1300 retail) video card from them on 10/11/2006. As usually order arrive in day or two, but they sent me wrong item. Instead of PCI, I got PCI Express in OEM box (which btw, costs less than plain PCI). My computer doesn't have PCI-E or AGP slots, I really needed PCI version, so I asked for a replacement. I understand mistakes sometimes happen. It took about a week to get my RMA processed, and I got replacement item on 10/27/2006. Guess what? Again I got PCI-E card! I was pretty pissed about the whole thing, and asked for a refund. I was assured I get full amount refunded. Fine. Today I'm getting an invoice for my refund MINUS restocking fee, and minus shipping. Now I'm really upset about the whole deal. I spoke with customer support and they promised to give me all the money back. I hope they do. I might still be ordering from NewEgg in the future, but it will no longer be my #1 store.

Since that original post, NewEgg, has give me a full refund (they even refunded all shipping charges). They also contacted me personally. So in the end you can still rely on the great customer service from NewEgg. I will continue shopping there.
