Bought a 19" Hanns-G monitor with a $100 rebate in Oct 2006. Hanns-G distributor, Wintergreen Systems (Indiana, USA) will not honor the rebates and will not take calls. In fact, the rumor is they are under investigation by the IN attorney general!

Anyway, upon calling Buy.com, the CSR agreed, without hesitation or discussion to credit my credit card the value of the rebate.

This kind of customer service should be rewarded.

Bought a 19" LCD from PCC with a $100 mail in rebate. The rebate company went silent, and PCConnection honored the rebate with a quick credit to my credit card, even though it was a different company's rebate mistake. Top notch customer service!

YOU SOLD ME THREE BAD MOTHERBOARDS! Do you even check the components you pull?!?
Board #1: no AGP port, although the board should have an AGP port
Board #2: DOA
Board #3: (the replacement) fails to boot properly

On 12-6-05 (order number 3xxxx I ordered two L4IGEM2 motherboards from you. One worked but lacked an AGP port. Since the motherboard had on-board video, I ignored the lack of AGP. The second board was DOA, and I RMA-ed the board (#3xxxx) AT MY SHIPPING EXPENSE back to you. It took you three weeks to send a new board, although there is a chance it was lost in shipping and you did send out a replacement.

Here's the problem: after several attempts to make the replacement board work, I am forced to conclude that it too is bad. In a few attempts it would boot, but then crash. After several attempts to determine if the CPU, memory, or power supply (a cotagen PS which was also from you) was the cause, the motherboard simply failed to boot properly!

Ordered 3 pairs of 6.5" 150W Pioneer door speakers. Best price on the net, including reasonable shipping costs. Arrived well packaged and one day ahead of schedule. Will shop there again (first for the best price).

Is there a better internet site than newegg? I very much doubt it.
I bought a refurb P4-i850 motherboard atabout 50% of retail, expecting a bare board with no cables, discs, manual, etc. When it arrived, the board contained EVERYTHING in a retail package, and the board works awesome! Newegg continues to impress. The board even arrived a day earlier than expected. Thanks Newegg.

They shipped the wrong item and promised to have the correct item shipped out next-day-air. It was shipped ground. When the item (a cooling fan) didn't work as advertised, I called their CSRs and they promised a full refund. Two weeks later, they offered to issue only a partial refund, charging me a restocking fee and $11 shipping. (it only cost them $6 to ship it to me, and yet they charged my $11!)
After several emails, back and forth, the refused to budge. So, here I am with a bad review.

WILL NOT SHOP THERE AGAIN--too many other online retailers like them with better customer service.

The CSRs were very rude. They increased the price of the item after I placed my order. They would not give me any information by email or over the phone. May they burn in bankrupt hell.
