I attempted to purchase the dresser pictured through Amazon (shipped and sold by wayfair) which was listed @$124.61 both on Amazon's site and wayfair's site (as well as Buy.com who boasted 86% off the regular price, also shipped and sold by wayfair). I received the following confirmation from wayfair:

Later that day I received the following email from wayfair:
Dear Jenny,
We are sorry to inform you that certain items on your order 1310576101 with Amazon were affected by a listing error, and are unable to be filled at the price listed at the time of submission. The following item on your order have been cancelled to ensure your refund is processed right away:
• Wildon Home - Vernon Dresser in White
Amazon cancelled my order due to the product being out of stock. I contacted Amazon later that evening b/c the product was still on their website for $124.61 and was told to repurchase the item b/c it WAS in stock. Amazon sent an email to wayfair stating to please not cancel the order as the item is currently in stock. 2 days later I received another email from wayfair re: listing error and cancelling my order. My husband contacted wayfair. What terrible customer service! My husband was first told it was a listing error and they wouldn't sell it to us at that price b/c it is a $900 dresser; during the same conversation he was told the dresser was out of stock and then that it was discontinued (he stated that was the reason my order was cancelled; not listing error). He was basically just trying to get my husband off the phone b/c they did not want to have to pay for THEIR mistake! When I purchased the dresser it was listed on Amazon and wayfair for several different prices (same picture, same description)- $124.61, $582.00, and also over $900 (they took that one down so not sure of exact price). The dresser is still shown as being available on Amazon for $582. That is strange b/c we were told it was discontinued! I really feel that this is some sort of scam; and at the very least that I am being lied to. I will be contacting the BBB and perhaps some legal advice re: false advertising. Was going to have my daughter's room redone for her 2nd birthday but now she has no dresser. . . wayfair couldn’t have cared less- TERRIBLE customer service!
