I just bought a Friedrich Chill Window Air Conditioner 5450 BTU CP05G10 unit from J&R. I researched quite a few places to shop before I purchased, but ended up going with J&R based on the shipping fees (which were waived), the price (I had a Memorial Day discount of $15, which covered the tax), and the fact that it's a local business, which is important to me.

The estimated arrival date of my Air Conditioner was May 31st, four days after I placed the order, but it came on May 29th, just TWO DAYS after I placed the order! Nick of time, too, as the temperature shot up to 90 degrees that day.

I also liked that J&R was selective about the brands of ACs that they carry. At the time of my order, they had three - Friedrich, Haier, and Midea - all top brands with great reviews. I appreciate that.

Super simple ordering, super simple everything. And the price was fair. Very pleased with the whole experience.
