I attempted to order some sympathy arrangements for an out of state relative who passed away from 1-800-Flowers. I ordered before noon local time on Friday and was told it would be shipped the next day. Woke up the next morning at 9 AM from them saying that the local florist did not have the flowers needed to make the arrangements. I asked why it took almost 24 hours to find out, and they lied to me and said they called me on Friday. After fighting, they checked their log and apologized for lying and responded that they did not make contact. I guess e-mail was down too. They then placed me on hold to talk to the florist. They said they would place other similar flowers to make up for the price in place of what they failed to stock. Even though they do not monitor this excellent resource here, I am going to leave it one star regardless of how the flowers turned out. Bad customer service is a killer!
