I ordered a computer on line Jan-6-2010. I received an email with my invoice number. A few days later my checking account showed that the funds for my purchase had been withdrawn. After not hearing anything after a week I went back to their web site to create an account to find the status of my order. After I filled all the information out and hit the submit button nothing happened. I tried this several times and was never successful in creating an account. I emailed the company at least 5 times and never received a response. The first week of February I called and talked to someone named Dustin, he was very apologetic and told me that they were expecting a shipment within the next 2 days and that by Friday I would be sent a tracking number via email, nothing ever happened. Now their phone just rings until you get an answering machine. I have left several messages and received no response. I sent this company a certified letter in the first week of March-2010 demanding that my money be refunded. I received the return receipt from the postal service signed and dated by an HCDI employee. They have my money and I have nothing.
I have filed a complaint with the TX BBB.
I have filed a complaint with the TX FTC.
I have filed a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) via the TX FBI website.
I ask every victim to PLEASE file an online complaint to the above mentioned agencies so that this business gets shut down and prevents others from being taken like us!!!
