Great experience until after my purchase. Spoke to a customer service representative on the phone for 2 hours to help me make a decision on the best modem/router combination for me. Purchased a Cradlepoint mbr-1400 and Verizon modem cap. Representative told me i could go with the 5gb monthly plan and upgrade later if i needed to. Receive the item and check my account the day Verizon sends me the password and I am over my limit. I called Verizon to upgrade my account and was told the modem i have is only compatible with the 5gb plan. Called 3gstore.com the next day to resolve the issue and was told the only option i had was to go to a verizon store and purchase a different modem at full retail. I am in the return period by 13 days and was told I can't return the device. Now i am stuck with a device that will not work for me because it does not offer a plan that suits my needs. Had i been given proper information from the beginning I would have went with a different modem. The fact that they were not willing to do anything to help will make me buy elsewhere next time and to spread the word of their terrible customer service post sale.

“Kyle,

We pulled both times you called us and listened to the call and here is what we found.

You called in on 9/16 and had general questions about Verizon Service and during that call the sales rep recommended the USB551L or MiFi, EITHER of those 2 devices could have a 5GB or 10GB and be upgraded.

Next, you called on 9/20 to place an order. You mentioned you wanted a modem cap. The sales rep (different one) took your order over the phone. The 10GB plan was never mentioned, had it been, we would have told you to go with the recommendation the first time you spoke with us.

We understand that it is confusing with all the different plans that Verizon has - but we are not at fault here. Looks like you called us 21 days after you got your order and Verizon has a 14 day return policy. All this is documented on our site and in the emails we send out.

About the only thing we can do, is offer to you to exchange your modem cap for a MiFi 2200. That will allow you to get the 10GB plan on a 3G device, someone from 3Gstore.com will be contacting your shortly with this option.”
