"These guys are excellent!I recently ordered a DVD Rom drive for a Dell server so that I could update/rebuild the server. I needed the product ASAP but unfortunately UPS delivered the item to some other location. UPS instructed me to contact the vendor to open a trace on my package.This is what makes xByte Technologies worth your business. I emailed them on Sunday with all of my tracking information and explained the problem. While the UPS trace is still ongoing, I received a replacement drive from xByte today via Fed-Ex. I didn't ask them to do this, but they pro-actively took it upon themselves to make sure that I was taken care of.This type of customer service and quick response is exactly what your business should look for from a vendor. "We were looking for 2 ‘PERC 4/DC’ cards. xByte prices were competitive and there was history with them when they were This Old Store. We order the cards on Friday, and had them shipped the next business day. They arrived Monday morning as expected. Upon installation one of the cards was defective. I did some rudimentary debugging to try and resolve the issue with no success. I called xByte and spoke with Claudia who directed me to their RMA page on their site and forwarded me to Zack's voicemail. Claudia instructed me to fill out the form even if I left a message for Zack. I did just that. Within 20 minutes, after filling out the form, I had an email from Zack confirming the replacement product was on its way. Wow! Really? I am not going to have to spend hours on the phone while a call center representative goes through their script refusing to skip any steps? You don't what a credit card number to secure the return of the defective part? Are you saying xByte trusts me? I am actually speaking to a home grown customer service and tech support? xByte has won me over.xByte stands behind the products they sell. They where prompt, courteous, and professional. I have never had such a positive experience, especially when dealing with RMAs, as I have with xByte. They will be the first place I goto anytime I need purchase any type of hardware for my servers. xByte’s selection, prices, and customer service should be enough to put them on top of your list as well."

We had ordered the drives through Dell, but the shipping date kept getting pushed back farther and farther. We ordered the drives and they came through where Dell couldn't. "I did business with them when they were called This Old Store. They just recently changed the name to xByte Tech.We have ordered from them maybe a dozen times and it worked out very well every time. We typically buy replacemnt servers for customers and parts for older servers. Their tech support has been great with help making sure the parts matched the system we were working on.On one occasion, we received a hard drive with some bad sectors. One phone call and we had the replacement part the next day. No grief over paperwork or billing.Their sales people have been great. Sometimes our customers are not sure which route to go and we have had to request multiple variations on a quote.
