"I placed an order for my bridesmaid dress in early April. I needed it by mid May. The dress cost almost an entire paycheck for me so I couldn't order it any earlier. I chose a standard size based on their sizing chart (ordering one size up in case they ran small). I received my confirmation and replied to it just like they asked. They said they were making the dress. I waited. The week OF the wedding comes along and I STILL do not have a tracking number for shipping. One of the other bridesmaids had received her dress which was sized completely wrong, the bride's dress was also completely wrong as well. This had me extra worried. I got my dress two days before the wedding, and it was COMPLETELY wrong. The bust was one size too small (compared to what I ordered), the waist was two sizes too small, and the hips were three sizes too small. HOW THE HELL this happens I have no idea. I ordered a STANDARD size off of their chart and ordered one size too large for myself. I lost weight between ordering and receiving the dress as well, so my measurements were even smaller than originally ordered. Where the entire thing only one size too small it would have fit perfectly. The sizes were CERTAINLY not what I ordered. Because of all this stress, the bride uninvited me and told me I wasn't welcome at her wedding. So I started to go through the steps to returning my dress. The company offered me extra fabric to get it fixed at a local dressmaker's at least five times. I replied EVERY time that I would only be happy with a full refund. I realized they were only giving me the run around so I could not file a dispute with Paypal. DO NOT LET THEM DO THIS TO YOU. FILE ASAP. They finally agreed after a month of arguing with them (almost daily in my emails) to let me send the dress back, THEY would measure it and if it was wrong on their part I would get a full refund. I decided I wasn't taking ANY chances so I measured the dress flat and took photos with the tape measure ON the dress and notes with sizes clearly written out. There was no way they could tell me I was wrong. After paying $40 to ship it back via International Express USPS, it took them another week to refund my money after agreeing it was sized incorrectly. So it took a month and a half to get my money back. I will NEVER be doing business with China again. Not only did this company cause undue stress to myself, but also the bride, the other bridesmaid (who's dress was too small as well), and the maid of honor, who's money was taken but the dress wasn't even made at all.I'm glad I got my money back but buyer beware BUY AMERICAN.I DID get my money back in the end, after a month and a half song-and-dance routine on the part of the company to try to swindle me out of it. Their customer service would tell me one thing and then say and do something totally different. I had to email daily, as well as call them constantly and harass their Chat service on their website to get anything done.Avoid the trouble!"

"I ordered a dress for a grad in august. I have rang and rang and rang about the dress and nobody has replied to me. I went by the gmt times and still no answer. I am very worried by the other reviews by the dress being unsatisfatory and need to receive my dress way before the date of the grad incase of alterations. I have emailed vponsale several times and havent got any emails back i have received one in total since ordering the dress and it was a confirmation email. I need to know when my dress is going to be here. My order number is 6396. I ordered my dress from england and i live in Ireland. My dad rang from England and still no answer.. I need to know !!"

"I recived my 3 bridesmaids dress yesterday, as stated on the emails recived from you after i have sent 2 emails, i must say you always return my question by email within a couple of days. The dresses are ok, apart from they looked ruff and the pleating dose not connect in the right place on 2 of the three dresses, also the lace work on the dresses are ruff and not cut out in some places. I am disopointed in the lack of finish, i will not be returning the dresses as i have no time before the wedding, and i will end up with no dresses rather than badly put together dresses, this is the first and last time i shall order with you. i shall keep with my other hong kong based dress makers Light in the box, which is fab, there dresses are finished with care and love, and the bridesmaid dresses from them make yours look ruff and hurried. I want a discount for the wait and the condition of the finished dresses, or i shall ask paypal to refund all money paid due to the standard of finish.Ok i am back after being asked to say what has happened.....I wish to thank this vpron for there help, they have refunded me £125 of my !85.00 order. (i am very happy with this as one dress was great apart from the laceing). they HAVE replyed to all my emails and always been most helpfull with the problems as above stated.money was paid into my paypal account with in days of the agreement amount. BUT this does not alter the fact that there was problems in the first place! I can not tell everyone on here how great there custermer service has been. BUT there is clearly problems with this company. I feel they would be great if they tried harder. and looked at maybe better staff in the factories and a uk contact to deal with uk orders, the same with the other counties they cater for. Its great to have a cheap dress outlet, but if the problems that are found to be had can not be sorted then the bad reviews will continue. I would pay more (and have done) for a better service and complete and to spec order, as i bet would many on here .............. so thank you for your help."

"I strongly recommend that you do not use vponsale to buy a dress!I ordered my dress at the beginning of April 2011, i emailed the company on a number of occasions to ask on the arrival of my dress and they said that they would put a rush order on it. I recieved my dress this morning on the 20th june 2011, the dress was the wrong size, wrong colour, wrong style and the stiching and detail was very poorly made! when i say poorly made i mean very poor. It came rolled up in a plastic bag cellotaped together and when i opened it, it was very creased.I shall be contacting the company later on today for a FULL refund and i shall let you know how i get on!"
