"Don't ever order from here. Most horrendous customer service experience ever!!

See excerpt from this customer service nightmare...

Bridesmaid: Is your office location in NYC or China?

VPOnSale: we are in China:)

Bridesmaid: i tried to call the office line and no one ever picks up.
is there any way I can speak to someone in person?

VPOnSale: you can talk with me here:)

Bridesmaid: i placed an order for a bridesmaid dress and it is too small

VPOnSale: To show our sincerity, we will give you 40% refund as compensation at most, and send some cloth to you, you can ask a dress maker to alter the dress for you. What's your opinion? Or you can ask the dress maker to alter the dress to lace up. we have sent email to you,please check it

Bridesmaid: I did provide my custom measurements, however, i measured the bust of the dress and it is a 31-32. My request was for a 35. I'm just really anxious because that was not the size that I requested.

VPOnSale: yes,we have checked it is 35inches

Bridesmaid: other than a 40% discount, is there any way you guys can help me out further, so I don't walk away with such a bad experience? it is not 35 inches, i have a picture of tape measure around bust of dress. it reads 31-32 (most). i am a 35C (bra size) in the US

VPOnSale: we can send some material to you to let you make the change

Bridesmaid: is there any way you can express mail that to me???

VPOnSale: yes,we have sent email to you

Bridesmaid: it does not state the delivery speed though... if I can get it mailed to me express because many tailors here need to work on dress ahead of time

Bridesmaid: I just don't understand how you are telling me it is 35 inches in bust, but i measured it and it is 31-32

Bridesmaid: So, my question to you is: You gave the factory measurements of 35" However, I am telling you, with proof in the photo and in my email that the bust is 31-32.

VPOnSale: we have checked the issue with our factory,it is indeed 35inches

Bridesmaid: so, the factory never makes mistakes?

VPOnSale: yes, please trust us

Bridesmaid: I want to trust you. but my dress is not 35". i wish you would trust me as a customer

VPOnSale: we have now agree to give you 40% refund and send some material to you
we want to let you know that we want to solve this issue to you

Bridesmaid: this whole experience has been horrendous. i am just frustrated at this whole transaction.

"I ordered a dress for a grad in august. I have rang and rang and rang about the dress and nobody has replied to me. I went by the gmt times and still no answer. I am very worried by the other reviews by the dress being unsatisfatory and need to receive my dress way before the date of the grad incase of alterations. I have emailed vponsale several times and havent got any emails back i have received one in total since ordering the dress and it was a confirmation email. I need to know when my dress is going to be here. My order number is 6396. I ordered my dress from england and i live in Ireland. My dad rang from England and still no answer.. I need to know !!"

"My experience at vponsale was wonderful. I found this site by browsing the internet. I fell in love with a wedding ivitation I saw on this site months before I was ready to order. I was very uneasy about ordering invitation online. Your know how sometimes things look better on the computer. So I ordered a sample and was even more pleased.

I find the staff are very helpful. They responded to all my questions and I was very surprised at how quickly they replied to my questions and concerns. I was also pleased with their patience throughout the personlization process. You know a bride can be quite picky with the idea she has in her head. I was happy that they could capture the idea I had in my mind. It surprised me to get such good service over the internet.

The website is easy to use and follow. I was only a bit confused with the preview of the invitation after I complete the personalization process. But when they emailed the actual invitation and other cards I was put at ease. The cost was also comparable and more reasonable than many other sites.

I would definitely recommend this site to anyone for their wedding. The customer service alone was the best.

I will soon be sending out my invitations. Thank you to the staff at vponsale.

"I am so happy to find a store like this! I would certainly suggest it to anyone who wants to look beautiful at a prom night. What I appreciated more of this online store is that it offers dresses as per style, event, and color. This was something that even my friends loved!"

"I am very pleased with my invitations. I was nervous ordering them, but customer support put my mind at ease. They were able to do everything I asked for and were curtious and ready to help. "I recived my 3 bridesmaids dress yesterday, as stated on the emails recived from you after i have sent 2 emails, i must say you always return my question by email within a couple of days.
The dresses are ok, apart from they looked ruff and the pleating dose not connect in the right place on 2 of the three dresses, also the lace work on the dresses are ruff and not cut out in some places.
I am disopointed in the lack of finish, i will not be returning the dresses as i have no time before the wedding, and i will end up with no dresses rather than badly put together dresses, this is the first and last time i shall order with you. i shall keep with my other hong kong based dress makers Light in the box, which is fab, there dresses are finished with care and love, and the bridesmaid dresses from them make yours look ruff and hurried. I want a discount for the wait and the condition of the finished dresses, or i shall ask paypal to refund all money paid due to the standard of finish.

Ok i am back after being asked to say what has happened.....
I wish to thank this vpron for there help, they have refunded me £125 of my !85.00 order. (i am very happy with this as one dress was great apart from the laceing). they HAVE replyed to all my emails and always been most helpfull with the problems as above stated.
money was paid into my paypal account with in days of the agreement amount. BUT this does not alter the fact that there was problems in the first place! I can not tell everyone on here how great there custermer service has been. BUT there is clearly problems with this company. I feel they would be great if they tried harder. and looked at maybe better staff in the factories and a uk contact to deal with uk orders, the same with the other counties they cater for. Its great to have a cheap dress outlet, but if the problems that are found to be had can not be sorted then the bad reviews will continue. I would pay more (and have done) for a better service and complete and to spec order, as i bet would many on here .............. so thank you for your help."

"Hie. I ordered a prom dress for my daughter on friday 17 june. According to your website you send the customer a confirmation email in 12 to 24hrs. Surprisingly i have received nothing. Pliz contact me on my email maitadi@rocketmail.com. My daughters prom is next week. Am nervous now after reading all these reviews about your company. Waiting fo yo response. Thank you. How come you are always offline fo a chat and also your telephone number goes to voice mail all the tym?"

"I strongly recommend that you do not use vponsale to buy a dress!I ordered my dress at the beginning of April 2011, i emailed the company on a number of occasions to ask on the arrival of my dress and they said that they would put a rush order on it. I recieved my dress this morning on the 20th june 2011, the dress was the wrong size, wrong colour, wrong style and the stiching and detail was very poorly made! when i say poorly made i mean very poor. It came rolled up in a plastic bag cellotaped together and when i opened it, it was very creased.
I shall be contacting the company later on today for a FULL refund and i shall let you know how i get on!"

"I too am struggling to get a response from vponsale. I have emailed them twice and tried to chat online but been totally ignored. I placed an order at beginning of May for four bridesmaids dresses. I received an email saying they would be here by 10th June and to date I haven't received a thing. Not even an email to explain why they're not here. Steer clear of this company. I am now having to look elsewhere to get dresses."
