"The service was great and so was the product {Microsoft windows 95 with COA }. I am trying to put Win 95 on a laptop computer a Toshiba Satellite Pro. 440 CDX. I have found that I need the 3.5" setup Flopply disk in order to get the Win 95 CD disk to install on Harddrive.Do you sell this 3.5" disk or know where I can obtain one."

"After realizing I had purchased an OEM version of windows I asked for a cancellation of my order. I got a response the same day saying that the order was cancelled and my money would be credited back to me. Two days later I still had not received my credit. I emailed tekdeal again asking why I had not received my money back. They told me that the credit had already been processed but they also shipped it so I have to refuse it when it gets delivered. It is now the 24th and I have not received the credit. I am not sure how this is going to pan out but all I know is that I would never do business with these guys again. "

"I ordered CyberLink PowerDVD 5.0 for $12.99 with FREE shipping. The correct product arrived in 10 days. I installed it, and it works as expected. I got what I wanted for a GREAT PRICE. I am totally satisfied with my TekDeal transaction."

"Well, much like sseabrid's comments below, I think Tekdeal has a communication problem. I ordered 2 copies of Windows XP Pro OEM. They had the cheapest price I could find, they advertised that it would ship in 2-3 days and that the item was in stock. By the third day I had not received a ship notification so I went to their site to check the status of my order. And just like sseabird's ordeal, the site said that my order information was not available. So I called and was told the items were backordered and it would take another week. However, the next day I got email from QuantumViewNotify@ups.com stating that it had been shipped. My order arrived pretty much on time, the software works well and is exactly what I ordered. But does anyone at Tekdeal know anything about the business they're running? I'm not so sure. I doubt I would deal with them again."

"I was very happy with the price of the software (DVD X Copy Express) and the free shipping. It was to be shipped 5-7 business days. When the item was not received after 7 business days, I tried checking on the web site the status of my order. The site came back stating that my order information was not available. I then called them, followed the menu, and was told that the extension I dialed was not valid. I eventually talked with customer service about the delay in my purchase. She stated that the item was back ordered and would be shipped as soon as they received them. I asked why I was not notified about the backorder stauts. She replied that they were sorry about that. I asked about getting the software shipped overnight (for free) once they received them. She said that was not an option.
I generally purchase based upon price but if I would have known that the software was backordered, I would have cancelled the order and gone somewhere else and paid a little more."

"Tekdeal.com website advertises shippment within 2-3 business days. It's been 7, and I cannot contact them. What good is a great price if they won't deliver? I'm Considering cancelling my order.

I will update with any additional details.

"Horrible experience. Website claimed item would be shipped in 1-2 days, and also stated there was no shipping charge for UPS ground. I placed the order and was charged for shipping. Contacted customer service by email. Two days later I got an email response stating they would refund the shipping charges. Five days after I placed the order, it still had not shipped. Sent an email inquiry, but never received a response. Phoned customer service 8 days after I initially placed the order and was told they had no idea when they might receive the product. I canceled the order and was told I would be issued a refund on my credit card. Ten days since the cancellation, and still no refund. NEVER AGAIN!!!"

"I ordered pcAnywhere 12/29/03. Confirmation received 1/7, but was "dated" 1/1. CD arrived 1/13/04 but wasn't readable. Telephoned, spoke with very friendly lady, who promised a replacement as soon as new stock arrived. Replacement disk arrived 1/28/04 - a month after original order. It worked, and price was right. I think they get stiffed by their suppliers but are trying to do the right thing. Slowly.

"Ordered the product (voice recognition software) on 1/10. On 1/20, I wrote to customer service to see why it hadn't shipped yet. On 1/21, they finally shipped it, USPS and I received on the 1/24. 1/22, they replied to the e-mail I had sent them, saying "it shipped, here's the tracking number", just like the e-mail I got on the 21st showing it was shipped.

A little frustrating to have to wait 11 days for a company to put a box in the mail."

"never sent software as promised, "customer service" is non-existent. 800 number cannot get through, get form "emails" that my order is being processed, but no delivery. Charge is being disputed. Cannot recommend to anyone."
