"I purchased the amazing Nikon camera kit while shopdigitalcorp was on Ebay as Stingray electronics. Never got the camera and still have not gotten my $910.00 back from them. "

"I ordered a VPL-VW60, 900 ANSI Lumens, HD Wide-screen Home-Theater 1080p LCD Projector.
The price looked good. They first contacted me to try to sell me a 200 hour bulb for $600+, a 400 hour lamp for $900+ or a 600 hour lamp for $1100+. I told the guy that the projector should come with a lamp. He told me that for the advertised price he could not include the lamp, he cancelled the order. (It didn't say that in the ad which falsely influenced me to give them my credit card #)
In another order, I ordered (2) GPS systems but they were "sold out" order was canceled by Shop Digital
This is a case of Bait and Switch, I have already contacted the Federal Government regarding this fraudulent internet activity."

"I ordered a Denon receiver on June 12, 2008 and called to confirm on Jun 13. After a few weeks, still no shipment had arrived, so I called. On my fourth try I got a human named Steve (I think this is the same guy I spoke to to confirm the order a few weeks earlier). Steve seemed apologetic, and offered to include a free HDMI video cable "for my trouble" ... along with shipping via 2-day FedEx to get it here with no more delay.

That was two weeks ago. As of July 16 the product has not arrived, it's nearly impossible to get them on the phone, they don't return calls, and don't answer emails.

I've asked that they provide proof of immediate shipment, or cancel the order. We'll see."

"The pits. Avoid like the plague. It's one of those sleazy Brooklyn type camera stores though it's located in Florida. They operate this webstore as well as sell a lot cameras on Ebay under the name DigitalCorp. Don't get fooled by seeing the 90% feedback score, read the comments as well. Many state they didnt get the right item or they waited 3 weeks after complaining numerous times or they didnt get any response after paying. They also have complaints at the RipOffReport and Epinions sites and their BBB rating is F. One of the tricks they do besides forcing you to call so they can try a hard sell routine, is tell you to leave good feedback at Ebay immediately and theyll upgrade your shipping. Then of course many dont get the item or get the wrong item.

My experience is like many other buyers - I won one of 3 camera lenses they had listed during the Ebay Cashback discount. It was only a good deal because of that. Unfortunately buying from them was a colossal waste of time and hassle and I lost the discount. They make you call to confirm the ebay item you won ! No one else does this. Why? So they can do a hardsell number like the sleazy Brooklyn camera firms. According to reviews many transactions end there. With me I sent them an email warning I would dispute any problems so I got a relatively hassle free call in which they promised they had my item and would send it right away if I left good Ebay feedback. I had paid two weeks ago and didnt get any info since the call I had to make to "confirm" the sale. I called again since other complaints said that's what they did. They told me they didnt have any lenses and wouldn't get any and they cancelled my order saying they would refund my money! The funny thing is you can go to their website and see the same lens listed as being in stock there ready to ship!

I suppose Im lucky they didnt outright try to lie and sell me gray market goods and many of the other tricks stated in complaints against them.

"I ordered this item on 6/17/2008 on eBay. The listing stated that the item was In Stock and ready to ship.

I called that afternoon and the next day to confirm the order and ensure that it was in stock and would ship out right away. All agents told me everything was good to go.

A week later, after no shipment email, I call in the morning and they said that the order is shipping that afternoon and is ready to go and I'll get the tracking number in an hour. I call back 2 hours later and they say, "We told you that we have to get the item from our distributor and so you should have the item shipped out within 2 more weeks".

Basically, these guys lie so much that they can't even keep it straight anymore.

I've bought hundreds of items online and this is the first time that I've had an issue with receiving a product."

"Important to keep in mind that the receivers they sell are NOT covered by manufacturers warranty because they are not an authorized dealer/reseller. They have a 15-day return policy for unopened items only. In other words, if it breaks after two weeks, you are screwed.

I could bore you with a detailed account of what happened to me, but I will just say that this company would rather give you the run-around than actually solve your problem. When I email them, they email back telling me to call them. When I call them all I ever get is an answering machine. I left messages, but no one ever called me back. So I emailed them again, and they email back saying to call them. It's an endless cycle until you give up.

This company doesnt care about its customers once they get your money. They have great prices because they are not authorized resellers. Their return policy is lousy and it is the customer that gets screwed in the end.

My advice: you get what you pay for - and these guys are living proof. Pay a little more somewhere else and get the treatment you deserve as a paying customer."

"Bought Panasonic AG-DVX100B through there eBay outlet. Call them before transaction and confirm this is US unit eligeble for warranty. Got GREY MARKET unit with Japanese instruction. But unit is working so I decided to work with them. First, they denied everything. At second day, spoke with guy named Richard and he admit the fact they are not Authorized sellers. He offered free 3-year extended warranty from RepairTech (which is reputable company) in exchange for positive feedback on eBay. Duh. Warranty card received and registered, no problems there. It shall be Panasonic-Pro miniDV tape as part of the package. Never get one. Never get English manual ether (but it is okay got one from Panasonic site). So, the conclusion: They do have a stuff at reasonable price as long as you okay with GREY MARKET, willing to touch them for extended warranty and live without factory one (also, forget about any manufacturer offers and packages) and don't mind print you own manual. I work-out deal with them, but I am dissatisfied, because they DID LIE to me over the phone before transaction about status of the product. "

"Ordered a canon lens which was processed without any trouble. However got the product which did not include a canon packaing neither a warranty. All these when the product was advertised as US product with warranty. It is quite probable that I have been shipped a refurbished product for the original price."

"I ordered a denon avr 2807 - be aware they are not an authorized dealer - so you get NO warranty from Denon. The extended warranty they sell is a joke - they told me I could go to any authorized dealer for repairs - Best Buy or Circuit City - that is a complete lie - I got a bad unit, Denon wouldn't honor any warranty - no authorized dealer would take it because it wasn't purchased from them, Shopdigital told me to call the warranty company - but shopdigital sent me a warranty for a digital camera - I still don't have the right warranty card, I can't find anyone to repair the unit and I'm out over $800. So stay away from them unless you can afford to get a bad piece of equipment, pay extra for a useless warranty and have no where to get it fixed."

"Overall, I'm satisfied with Shopdigital.com. They took longer than I expected to actually ship the order (about 5 days), but my Pentax K100D was exactly what I expected. Packing was done professionally, the product was new in the box and everything was included. So in exchange for a couple of days, I saved about $40 from other retailers."

"Discovered a hard-to-find lens on their site, ordered it, and very happy status turned to "Will ship" after 2 days. However, it was all downhill from their. Credit card was charged and status never changed to ship, because they never had the product (no longer manufactured, so either it's in stock or completely unavailable). Called once after a week and was told it would ship within 5 days.. no further detail. Called yet again a week later and was told it had shipped. Asked for tracking number, there wasn't one. I said this isn't possible they would ship an expensive item without tracking, they asked me to hold on line. After moderate wait they came back on line and said it had suffered damage in transit - oh noes!! I knew at that point they never had the lens and were just playing with my credit card money. I asked for refund to be processed "oh yes ma'am, it's being put through right now!". Now 2 days later still nothing on my credit card account. I have put the charge into contest, what a hassle!

For one they should not have charged my card AT ALL until mdse was shipped, and why did they string this out so much like this?

I always check resellerratings.com for reviews and this company seemed OK, but if you notice only 2 reviews so it's easy to give false impression.

WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THESE CHARACTERS AGAIN, AND ADVISE OTHERS THE SAME unless they don't mind playing games with their credit card issuer."

"Ordered a Pentax 50-200 lens for the cheapest price on the internet. There was some initial confusion about phone confirmation, and I was a little upset. I received a call from Steve who seemed very concerned that I was unhappy. Without my asking, he bumped up the shipping to a three day turnaround in order to make amends. I received the product as promised. "
