"Customer Service is not high on their priority list. I ordered a Boston Acoustics subwoofer a few weeks ago that was damaged in shipping. I emailed them many photos of the damage as they requested immediately. After not hearing back from them I called them a few days later. They then looked at the photos and said they would have ups pick up the package. Ups has picked up the package 4 days ago and it is still "under investigation". So I called OnlineCarStereo.com and asked them when I should expect a new Subwoofer to be sent out and they basically told me that UPS has to complete their investigation and get their insurance money before they would ship me out another. So as soon as it leaves their hands it becomes the customers problem!! I assume eventually I will receive another but think this is very, very poor customer relations. They could have at least offered to ship out another immediately, bill me and then credit my account when they receive their insurance money. Unbelievable.."

"Very disloyal service to an international buyer. Several times, I explained why I could not have confimed address on paypal. Customer support answered me to pay and we'll ship. But after paying, they canceled the transaction, and my money is still locked in a bank account. Very poor service and attitude to the buyer."

" I bought a JL Audio 250/1v2 AMP, JL Audio 8W7-3 SUB and a JL Audio RBC-1 Amp Control for my 09 SI from Onlinecarstereo.com on March 9th 2010. Over $600 worth of components. I had spent quite some time ripping the car apart, cutting metal to accomadate the big woofer in the factory port, measuring, extra hardware to hang the AMP unter the rear deck lid, etc and I had very limited time because I was DEPLOYING TO IRAQ April 9th 2010. I had installed this system better than any I had ever done because it was my car. What I did for money in the old days. As I finally turned on the battery after properly installing the wires and settings according to manufacturers recomendations, the Amp started SPEWING OUT SMOKE. Really thick white/grey smoke and of course the electricity smell. I hurried to turned off the ignition to possibly save it but, it continued to smoke erratically even with the battery off. I had the hugh gauge wire screwed into the amp and while it was smoking, I had to find the allen wrench in the smoke screen and un screw the possitive wire because I couldnt pull the wires out by hand. Completely in shock I checked all the wiring and sure as heck, the Black was in the Black and the Red in the Red. Pretty brainless. I immediately called JL and not onlinecarstereo.com to get a WTF? They had told me this should definitly not happened and to only buy from JL. He also said we are rolling the dice if we buy from a whole saler. I then had to call onlinecarstereo.com and get the 20 stupid questions: did you wire it wrong, are you an installer, etc. Already upset with the quality of such expensive equipment, I was already getting irritated. They had told me to send it back for a WARRANTY repair and NOT an exchange because it was used. I explained to them, it was the AMPS fault not mine and JL even confirmed this shouldnt have happened. They said again it has to be a warranty repair, to send it in and it will take a few weeks if not longer. They need to also determine if its the AMPS fault or mine. I also explained I am leaving for Iraq and the AMP will not be back and I will have to drive my car with it all apart in shame. To top it off I had to remove all the hard work I did hanging the AMP on the bottom of the rear deck. Oh, you also have to PAY FOR YOUR OWN SHIPPING BACK EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT YOUR FAULT..Thats right, even under Warranty, defective, etc you have to pay roughly $20 for return shipping and insurance. There is NO REFUND of shipping. Too long of a story shortened, I am writing you this in Iraq in August about 5 months later. They agreed it was defective and many emails later they still have not sent my AMP to my residence back in the US. I had emailed them numerous times on the status and no real confirmation on the repair. Luckily, I am still here otherwise I would have been driving around with the back of my car apart for 5 months now. DO NOT BUY FROM onlinestereo.com or you may pay the price. They are rude when I call, they have sent me emails intended for other people and the service and quality of equipment is terrible. I know what your saying, why did you put together such an involved project before you left? Well, this actually was another issue with another on line wholesaler: Dealercostaudio.com that said the Sub I got was in stock after I paid and it really wasnt. 2 months they patronized me and said it will be in a couple days and never was. I also wanted my car finished when I returned. I hope this helps and I sure hope I get my AMP back before a year. I still havnt gotten a chance to test my SUB because of the AMP. Lets hope it works because it will be out of warranty and what a bitch it was to install it. SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING the MILITARY?"
"I ordered a 12 inch JL Audio W7 enclosed in the custom ProWedge woofer box. In the order details it said my item weighed 26 pounds, but the sub and box together weigh 81 so I thought they sent me the wrong item. It turns out UPS made the mistake and I received exactly what I ordered it and it arrived when they said it would. I give these guys 5 stars! I will be a returning customer when I need my car audio problems solved."

"Terrible service... If they mess up your order(like they did to mine) there not very friendly with fixing there mistake... or quick about it either. Never again will i buy from them, and i encourage anyone else out there to reconsider making a purchase from them. "

I just cancelled my order and I'm planning on ordering from somewhere else. I also emailed them on two seperate occasions and never received responses from either email.
