"I had a FANTASTIC customer service experience with NEWEGG this evening. I spoke with Julian.J.Romero from CS regarding an issue with a recently placed order. He was helpful, courteous, and did everything he could to make my issue corrected. I thank him personally and the terrific Newegg customer service reps for once again going above and beyond to help a repeat and very satisfied customer.

"5***** Star Customer Service!

I had ordered 2 Western Digital 1TB Black drives WD1002FAEX on separate orders.

The first drive I received was DOA, but I hadn't the time to install it until a month later, 1 day past the 30 day warranty return window. An exception was made and a replacement was shipped ASAP. It too failed during formatting with Windows.

Adding to the drama, the very same day of the second DOA, I received the additional drive I had ordered previously.

Needless to say I didn't open the 3rd drive and called CS to see about returning both the replacement DOA drive and the second drive I had ordered.

The CSR Kadine I believe, was very sorry to here of my experience and processed refund RMAs for both drives with return shipping.

I was so happy it was a very smooth transaction, I'm now going back to Newegg to order a different pair of model/brand drives.

BTW This was the first time I had problems with these once favorite drives!

"I've been ordering electronics and pc components from Newegg for many years. They've always come in at very competitive pricing, super fast shipping, and great customer service.

Yesterday, I placed an order and this morning saw a significant promo discount for that item. Even though I'd missed the promo window by a day, Monica recognized my good record with Newegg and offered me a gift card matching the promo. Excellent, fast service."

"I have ordered ton's of computer hardware from Newegg over the years and 99.9% has worked flawlessly, All items are always Well Packaged and shipped in a timely manner. My main point I need to express is the outstanding support I've always received from Neweggs customer support representatives. No matter what the issue is, They always make the ultimate sacrifice to insure I'm pleased and treated with respect. I wish all Reseller's had a backbone like Newegg because, I've been there, bought that. Thanks,,Guss"

"I called Newegg to see if they can replace usb cords i never got. This kind lady(Gloria.m) took my call very serious and did everything she could to help out. She not only replace my cords but handle everything she could as quickly as possible. She was able to replace my order and with gracious friendly help. Im so glad i called and everything went so well Thanks Newegg! "

"Ordered a hard drive for a netbook to replace one that failed. By the time the drive shipped, I discovered that the system board in the netbook was fried, so the drive was unnecessary. Did an online RMA request, which charged $6.00 plus $12.00 shipping. I called to cancel the RMA, as the drive was only $40 and it made little sense at that point to spend $18 to send it back. I called Customer Support and reached Abbi, who very graciously offered to not only waive the restocking fee but also pay for the shipping to return the item.

THIS is why I shop Newegg for not only my personal computing needs, but also for my computer repair and technology consulting business."

"Newegg is always my go-to first-look when shopping for PC parts. Its a waste of time start elsewhere. I enjoy their large selection of products, accurate customer reviews, speedy delievery and helpful customer service. For instance I had called in regarding Xbox equipment/PC GPUs/Gigabyte Killer Series Mobo and I was helped by Claudine. She spoke great English (which is such a relief compared to most other call-in support), was intelligent, fast, and best of all, there was no bulls**t. I had questions, she had answers. Simple and sweet. I love Newegg and sport their name proudly with a sticker on my computer and truck."

"Not happy, purchased a new ACER 27" monitor 2 weeks ago and it now wont power on. New egg provides absolutely no technical assistance for a defective product, it's either return it (if you kept the box and all the packaging stuff) which I didnt realize I needed to if the product was defective? Or they send you to the manufacturer for warranty service which means you have to ship your monitor in and wait for repairs to be performed and then ship it back to you. Very disappointed in lack of appropriate service from New Egg. Real world most people dont have room to hold onto boxes and packaging for everything they buy in case they're sold a defective unit..... "

"I ordered a motherboard with a free stick of ram from Newegg on 5/29/2013. I received it the following Friday 5/31/2013 in a timely manner, and with the box intact. I checked the contents of the box only visually to see if I received the correct order. Everything was as expected, and the boxes were not damaged in any way. I decided to wait until the coming week to put the parts together since I was expecting another shipment of ram.

Update: I thought previously that the motherboard heat sinks were scratched due to the motherboard being used. As the Newegg rep suggested It turned out that the heat sinks had a plastic film attached and that gave the appearance of them being scratched. I have updated this review to show that Newegg in fact did send me a brand new board while providing excellent customer service. I admit my wrong judgment and give kudos for customer service's quick response.

"Newegg support has always been very helpful. I was trying to take advantage of their $10 of $30 one day offer, but it didn't work on a preorder item. The agent offered to credit the difference when the order ships. Great service as expected from Newegg!"

"i had a very bum day i recived myself a fx-6350 that 2 cores were dead on and a woman named abbi helped me threw the process of setting up a return for it. i felt very defeated because i spent 2 hours cleaning my comp just to prepare getting the new cpu in. then i started running benchmarks on the new 6350 thats when i realized there was a problem . only 4 cores would run on cinebench.. i was like what!?!?! looked at task manager it only had 4 blocks so 1 for each core .. i looked down at the case badge for the new fx processor and thought well thats not going on today .. bumed!!!! i called amd tech support and it was a no go still 4 cores were only working.. i was soooo. disappointed .. it wasen't that i had seen something and wanted it. ive planned on getting a fx-6300 for the past six months and now i had enuff to buy one but the fx-6350 was on sale and i got that instead. abbi is the lady i spoke to at newegg customer service and she really seemed to understand my issue and was above and beyond what i thought id have when i called during the whole convo i could feel myself getting less and less bumd about having to wait for the new processor to come .. if every customer server rep was like abbi there would be no need for rating's they would always be 5* ... super nice and understanding i hope i get her again if i have any other issues "
