posted May-26-2011 “Our shopping cart did not charge you for shipping for some strange reason. We e-mailed you right away stating this, and that in order to do so, we need to charge your card the $8.95 for shipping to ship your order. You then stated you just want to cancel your order and that you will order it from another retailer. No where did you state you wanted to order the X360key from us, even after we gave you the option of simply switching your order to the X360key instead of cancelling your order, then ordering the X360key as you would then still lose the 5%. You kept stating you will order it from another reseller. So we cancelled and refunded your order as requested.
As stated on our Terms and Conditions page: "Order cancellations and any refunds will be refundable minus the 5% fee our merchant account company charges us for credit card transactions."
Our merchant company charges us close to 5% for credit card transactions. When we refund a customer, we do not get that 5% back from our merchant company. This is not just any 5% fee we charge so we can keep the money to ourselves.”
