"What I first really liked about their website is the enormous amount of information--whether do-it-yourself or have them do the repair, as well as the clarity about how the process works and exactly what happens to your device through each state of repair.It was pretty clear to me after thinking about 'self-replacing' the battery in my original iPhone, I didn't have the tools (solder iron, etc.) to 'do this at home'.I ordered the battery replacement, the shipping label came, I sent it in, and from the moment they received it I knew EXACTLY what was going on and what to expect.I wish more companies had such a straightforward and customer-oriented process. One of the first things they tell you is they're going to 'over-communicate' with you about your device's progress. And they do, from every test through every step.Amazing process, dedicated staff. Try to get that from Apple--all they really want to do is sell you a new device.My '1st-gen' iPhone is back as my main music player (have a Blackberry for work), and couldn't be happier! "I recently placed an order for service with Milliamp to have my iPod Classic looked at. I wasn't sure about what was wrong with it, and I also wasn't sure if my iPod would even be service since it has a modded hard drive installed. The same day that my iPod arrived at their service center, I was informed that I needed a new battery and also my backplate was missing a screw hols which allowed it to be securely attached.The following day, I was informed that my repairs were completed (minus the backplate, I didn't want to lose my custom skin that I had installed, so the technician removed the charging port trim instead). A few days later, my iPod was in the mail and on its way back to me.I have been more than satisfied by the level of service that I received from Milliamp. The entire repair process was completed much faster than I ever thought it would be, and I appreciated being kept up to date on the repair process as it happened.In the future, if my iPod ever needs repair work done, I will definitely be sending it back to Milliamp. "I have had Milliamp perform two repairs on my 5th generation iPod: The first time, in July 2009, they replaced the battery and the second time, April 2012, they replaced both the headset jack and video screen. Both times the quality of customer service and workmanship has been outstanding. They do a great job staying in touch with the client during the whole process: from sending a shipping label, acknowledging receipt of my device, evaluating and making recommendations for the repairs, letting me know that repairs were done, and updates on its return to me, and finally with a follow-up email from the Anthony, the company owner. Their level of communication really eliminated any reservations I had when deciding to send my iPod out of state for repairs. I highly recommend them and will use them again when needed."

"We took a 3rd generation Ipod to Milliamp to have the headphone jack repaired. They were extremely professional and very knowledgable of the device. We felt the $19.00 repair charge was very fair and the part was only an additional $29.00. We recieved an email immediately upon their checking the device in and then annother one after they checked it for problems. We knew exactly what was and wasn't wrong with the Ipod. We never felt that there was going to be any hidden charges related to the device. We were kept in the loop for the entire repair process. We recieved several emails to let us know when the repair began, when it was finished and being checked by a second tech and then immediatley upon the repair being completed. We were extremely pleased with the entire process and have no hesitation about referring them to friends and coworkers. We have already posted on facebook about our positive experience with Milliamp. As a restaurant manager I work in a customer service environment. Milliamp exhibited the kind of great customer service I try to instill in my employees. "

"These guys are awesome! I decided to go with them after reading the reviews here and I'm glad I did. They have a legitimate brick and mortar store in Texas, but I'm quite far from there so I sent my iPad, which had a broken backplate, via UPS. The processes took a couple of weeks, but they kept me updated with personalized emails to let me know how my device was doing and how much longer before it was shipped. They even upgraded my shipping on the way back without charging me to ensure the device arrives safely. Their customer service was very friendly, prompt and to the point. I chatted with a Daniel C. using their online chat support system and just wanted to add that he was very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated as I was stressed out over damaging my device. I absolutely recommend milliamp! :)"

"After having the 30pin connector on my Ipod go out, I looked online for parts to fix it myself. After watching a video on how to fix a broken 30pin connector I decided to have somebody else fix it. After looking online at different websites offering Ipod repair, I decided to use Milliamp.com. I had to be in San Antonio for business so I called and asked them if I could drop it off while in town. They said no problem. I got to town and dropped it off on Monday. They were very friendly and sent emails updating the status of the repair from start to finish. They actually completed the repairs the same day!! I picked it up from them on Thursday and the Ipod is working great! I even got a follow-up email from the owner. How's that for customer service!
