She wanted me to get what I wanted, so much so that after I was done talking to her, she kept looking. Then she followed up with me to see how my search was going. She was a real pleasure to work with and everyone in customer service should be as dedicated and pleasant as she is.

"BUYER BEWARE! PURCHASED A TABLE THRU THE 8 HUNDRED NUMBER ON THEIR WEBSITE. THE TABLE IS MADE OF METAL AND HAS A PAINTED SURFACE, THE PAINT JOB HAS LINES RUNNING THRU IT AND THERE IS THIS PIECE OF RECTANGULAR METAL ATTACHED (3 PLACES ONLY SO IT IS LOOSE] ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE TOP. "DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!! I ordered a girls canopy bed and when it came - it was built UPSIDE DOWN!!! Then after I called to complain - they didn't call me back in the promised 24-48 hours. I had to call after 48 hours and follow up. They said they were still waiting to get "confirmation" of the replacement parts. AND refused to give me a discount because they were ordering replacement parts at "No additional cost to me!!!!" Can you believe that???! My 5 year old is sleeping on the floor. I also tried to cancel the matching dresser I ordered since I am trying to cancel the bed...and they said they had to ask a manager if it's ok to cancel them!! I am seriously consdiering legal action if they don't give me my money back. Their customer service is horrendous!!! "
"ivgstores engages in deceptive practices and is a seriously shady dealer. I ordered a $400 product from them in May, 2011. They billed my card immediately despite not having the product. I was given FIVE different shipping dates...always a few more days...a few more days. They will never let you speak to a supervisor on the phone.
One week after the latest shipping date I called to get a tracking number and was told that the product would not be in stock for another 6 weeks. I tried to cancel the order and the rep said that would take 48 hours. Magically after 48 hours they said my order had shipped. Another week later I received an itme worth about $17 completely unrelated to what I had ordered. I called the vendor that ivg had fill the order and she said that ivg told her to ship me that item.
They knew that this was not what I ordered, but they were trying to play games to prevent me from cancelling my order. The only way to get your money back is to dispute the order with your cc company. Do not EVER order anything from ivg.
I would give them ZERO stars if that were an option."
"Please do not order items from their store. I had ordered a hope chest in 11/2010. Had the chest for 6 months. I hardly use it as it was for clothing storage. Went to open up the top (probably opened about 3 - 4 times in the past 6 months) Hinged ripped out of the wood. Company stated it was not a manufacturer's defect. I guess just a poor quality product. Extremely disappointed. "
"What a disappoinment! I ordered a chandelier and matching pendant lights for the kitchen, paid the electrican and had them installed. After that, I see THEY ARE MISMATCHED GLOBES. Seriously mismatched and guess what - the tab (which one has to look hard to see), says these are not returnable items... AND the shipping fees alone are outragous. This is not a competitor to the typicaly lighting stores, with decent return policies. If I had read reviews first, I would have realized this grave and expensive error. BOO to IVGSTORES!"
"I will never order anything from this merchant again. When I received the product I ordered, it was not as advertised so I wanted to return it. There were NO instructions or forms for return included with the item, so I called their customer service. I explained the situation to them and, after placing me on hold for a long time, they told me they would take the item back, but I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee AND the return shipping."
"Horrible company to do business with. Lied about product being in stock, I placed an order in the of Feb, I was told it would ship out on March 15th. March 16th I received an email stating that it was now back ordered till April 25th. I decided to wait. A week later they took out $1500 from my account (with no product) & when I called I was told that it was now back ordered till the end of JUNE! Got my $ refunded immediately."
"I have also had a very negative experience with "ivg stores." I ordered a 152-pound credenza to hold my TV. The shipping cost was outrageous and included only curbside drop-off - I had to pay an extra $100 to have them actually bringing this huge, heavy item inside the house!!! The shipment was not handled by IVG - they handed it off to two different rude and unprofessional shipping companies that I've never heard of (Home Direct USA and N.E.T.) who have totally and unapologetically mishandled the shipment. They've had to reschedule my shipment at the last minute three times and, so far, I've missed two days of work waiting for shipments that didn't come. I will write further after I get some more information, but for now, my advice is DO NOT ORDER ANY LARGE/HEAVY ITEM FROM IVG. I've ordered literally hundreds of items online over the years and have never had such a frustrating experience. I plan to make reports to the better business bureau and the attorney general's office. I'm sure IVG will write back that they are not shippers and my beef should be with the shipping companies, but that will just serve to underscore why IVG should be avoided."
"I wish I had read all the reviews before I ordered something for a Christmas gift. It was supposed to be shipped before the end of December but I was not told that when I ordered. So OK, I figured it was fine although I would have to pay another shipping cost to send to my son who would have been back in VA by then. Then a new ship date of January I believe. Then the end of March. I had not heard a WORD from them, so emailed and asked the other day. Well now it will be June. I wrote an email, explained my frustration and got a stock response. Wrote again and suggested someone go back and reread what I wrote and answer accordingly. Got a better response but still does not begin to deal with my total and absolute frustration. I will never order another thing from this place. Am leaving it up to my son as to whether he wants to wait to see if it comes in June or cancel and buy something very similar and about $30 less on Amazon."

They lie to you and tell you your order will ship in 2 weeks, but they don't tell you that it will take them 2 weeks to even process your order, then another 2 weeks to contact the manufacturer and have a ship date available to me, then they change your ship date for another 2 weeks, i placed my order on Feb. 1 and now my new ship date is March 29...really???? yes they may have low prices, but if i knew it would take this long i would have paid full price from somewhere else with no headaches and enjoyed my coffee table by now...i will never purchase from here again!"
"As has been previously mentioned, ivgStores is only a "broker" with many websites that serve to front their products. I bought 3 barstools and was somewhat unhappy with them (quality of build and the fact that they arrived damaged).
I wrote a review directly on the website that I purchased from (one of the fronts for ivgstores), but my review never posted (it was unfavorable and I believe it was not allowed to pass through their filter). I even verified my email address to validate the review, but it still did not post on the website.
Next I contacted the ivgstores customer service department and was directly told that my product was unreturnable. The customer service representative was rude and her exact word to me were "you cant return it at all. It says it right on there (referring to the website)." I returned to the product description page on the website, under the 2nd tab from the left, 3rd paragraph, 2nd line, in FINE PRINT, were the terms of no returns whatsoever... right under a paragraph stating how the company was fully committed to the satisfaction of their customers. It was rather well hidden.
I called back customer service to mention that not only was the return policy not clearly displayed, but it was well hidden. Further, when I checked other products on the website, none of them were returnable. I was then told by a 2nd customer service representative that some products were returnable and some weren't -- leading to variable return policies. I feel that this is an outright misrepresentation and other reviewers seem to corroborate this.
Ultimately, I feel that this company has limited resources to provide their customers with support. Since they do not sell or supply anything themselves, I would be very cautious in dealing with them. They simply cannot back up a sale if there is a problem.
If you receive a product and you are happy with it, you should be fine. If there is a single problem, you will have minimal support. I personally think the NO RETURNS policy is well hidden on purpose.
A few positives are that I have always been able to get in touch with a customer service representative (however rude) and their managers are polite and professional. Sadly though, when there is a STRICT NO RETURNS POLICY, it doesn't really matter how nice their customer service representative is.
Also, shipping was free for my item and I received it rather quickly. Too bad it arrived in a damaged condition.
"ivgStores.com is an internet-only business that provides an online front-end for ordering hundreds (if not thousands) of items that other vendors supply. ivgStores does NOT stock or ship anything; it simply acts as a middle-stop between you, the shopper, and suppliers who don't deal directly with the public. It's very important to be aware that whatever you're buying is going to be drop-shipped to you from the supplier, NOT from ivgStores. Your order ultimately will be at the control and mercy of that supplier. Most facets of the transaction - availability, returnability, shipping dates, etc. are controlled by the supplier, not by ivgStores.
To the end described above, ivgStores does its job fairly well. Their website is well organized and reasonably easy to navigate. Based on my particular furniture purchase, their prices are very competitive. Their customer service (email and telephone) was very responsive and supportive.
However, there are some mitigating issues regarding my specific experience with a baker's rack from ivgStores that I'd like to share:
1. The item I purchased was not returnable - AT ALL. Be very careful to determine if what you're ordering can be returned.
2. The links on the product's description page at ivgstore.com described a U.S.-based manufacturer. As it turned out (and to my chagrin), this item was made in China.
3. NOWHERE in the product description did it say that the item I was interested in came in complete kit form. This is an egregious (and intentional?) gap in the description.
4. The quality of the furniture matched its relatively low price. At best, I got exactly what I paid for. The furniture (shipped from Cramco in Philadelphia but made in China) had cheap joint welds, inconsistent coloring, and the most minimal and insufficient assembly instructions possible. Fortunately, I am VERY handy. I can't imagine the average person figuring out how to assemble this thing from the single, 6" x 8" instruction sheet.
5. Shipping was somewhat slow. ivgStores indicated that the item was in stock and took my order on a Tuesday morning, but the item didn't ship from the supplier until one week later. ivgStores is very careful to indicate the shipping times on their website, so they're covered on this issue, but I still don't understand why such a delay is necessary.
6. After waiting a month after posting my very honest review on the ivgstores' website, I find that they have refused to post it. In fact, I was unable to find any reviews on their site that took issue with their policies. That speaks volumes for the company's ethics.
Overall, I can marginally recommend ivgStores, but only with the caveats mentioned above.

I was looking for a specific bar stool at it was available at the lowest price (approx. $200) at ivgstores.com. After reading several negative reviews online, I was a bit wary about ordering from them. However, their getting a favorable BBB (Better Business Review) rating significantly increased my trust in them and so I decided to take a chance and place the order. My research also indicated that for most products ordered through ivgstores.com, the item ships directly from the manufacturer/wholesaler/distributor to the customer. It was the same in my case. The item arrived in perfect condition. On the ivg web site, it was described that the item would ship in 1-3 business days. It actually shipped after 5 days. I contacted customer service once (via e-mail and telephone) to inquire about the shipping status and I am happy to state that their customer service is quite good. It was a pleasant overall experience buying from them and I will likely order again from ivgstores."
"I had hear a ton of bad things about the IVGStore via the internet.
Against my judgement, I ordered a bamboo curtain from them because the price was 20 dollars cheaper than anywhere else.
I never got an email reply when I emailed them about availability so I would say the customer service was only so/so which is why I am putting 4 stars not 5 HOWEVER:
My order shipped the same day It arrived via FedEx 2 days later It is EXACTLY as described In excellent condition
Therefore, I am very satisfied with IVG. I will order from them again and I think it is wonderful they took the time to reply below.
I would recommend them from this point forward! :-) "
