First the unit with the exact plug for my 2005 Toyota Seqouia was cheaper than the unit itself at a local trailer place. I did not have to break my back splicing wires under the dash, just plug the unit into the wire harness and plug the other end into the factory plug. I was done in just over a 1\/2 hour.<br><br>The other item I bought was form fitting mirror extenders for the same truck. I have not been able to find them anywhere and I was really tired of the clip on mirror extenders I was using since 2005. The new mirror extenders fit snug and can be put on in seconds, literally seconds. I found etrailer.com and saved about $680!<br>The work of installing the hitch and the wiring took me about 3 hours but I was taking my time and trying to do a quality job. The instructions were very concise and I only had to deviate from them on a couple of minor things. The hitch would have been a lot easier to install if the vehicle had been on a lift, but I still managed to do it while laying on my back. "Ordered trailer hitch Wednesday and it arrived on Friday. Watched installation video, which made the whole process go smoothly. Hitch sticks out a bit further than I thought it would, but hardly notice it now. Receiver fit seems a little loose. May try adding shims to cut down noise it makes rattling around in the hitch.
Wiring install was also straightforward, made easier by the video. Only problem was with trim clip (which broke, because method shown in video to remove panel didn't properly account for design of trim clip (in my experience, there is always some subtle trick on the Honda's, which if you know, is logical, but if you don't results in part breakage.
