I have a high lens prescription and an astigmatism in both eyes. <br><br>I have single vision. I bought the second highest index available (1.67) to thin them out. I am very happy with the way it lightened my glasses and how they no longer slip down my nose. <br><br>I also bought clip on shades. This part was a gamble since they didn\u0027t really seem to have a picture of how they would look. I am pretty satisfied with them but the clips are large to me. I am told they re not very visible to observers though. They are flimsy without the support of the frames and made of plastic but that\u0027s ok to me. I was long over due to get my eyes checked and pretty much in desperate need for new glasses. After being stuck in lens crafter\u0027s for 3 hours I was told I\u0027d have my glasses in 2 weeks. Admittedly, I am no authority on how long it takes to get glasses but I found it odd that a place that advertises \u0022glasses in an hour\u0022 wouldn\u0027t have a more timely alternative. I bit my lip and agreed to their conditions for the hefty sum of $480 dollars. Later that night I received a call from Lens crafter\u0027s that the $480 I paid was not the correct price and they had forgotten to add on the $80 for the exam. $560 now! And I picked the cheapest frames they had in my style! And the lenses were \u0022half off!\u0022 I knew of cheaper places like Walmart etc...but I thought you paid more at places like Lens Crafter\u0027s so you COULD have glasses in an hour! I vented my frustration on Twitter and someone told me about Zennioptical.com. I figured it was a done deal though. A few people made jokes that I would get the wrong lenses at Lens Crafter\u0027s and I paid it little mind. Then that\u0027s exactly what happened! I cancelled my order with them and just received my glasses from<br>Zenni. I am thrilled! They\u0027re stylish and cost $60 bucks. How are Lens Crafter\u0027s still in buisness? Well, I am about to order more glasses. Please don\u0027t go to Lens Crafter\u0027s. It\u0027s borderline retarted when Zenni optical is clearly the better Co. I got a confirmation that they were sending my second pair that I\u0027ve had to wait 3 weeks for to an OLD address. How did they have this address when I looked on my account and my correct address is in the system. Apparently there was a problem when they were trying to do the shipping label and instead of CALLING ME to verify my address they decided to look me up on the INTERNET and updated my address to what they found. The lady who lives in my old apartment is pissed because people keep putting my mail in her box so this is just great. I called customer service and the guy was helpful but had a bit of a \u0022could care less\u0022 attitude. It took me several hours to figure out how to order glasses online. Luckily, I just got everything in hand. I had my Rx and PD (Not the up-to-date ones, but they turned out to work well for me), and I found the frame dimensions on the temple arms of my old glasses. I ordered a $10 pair. Zenni even had many pairs that are more affordable than this one. It took around 2 weeks to receive the glasses, but the glasses were surprisingly good. My vision was clear and my wife said they looked better on me than my old ones. Just received my 3 pairs of progressives, and the only way I could use them would be if I taped them to my forehead about 2-3cm above where the glasses sit naturally! I have ordered online before for just single vision glasses, so know my measurements, which I re-checked before ordering. The cost for 3 pairs of glasses (they\u0027d had a buy 2 get 1 free sale when I ordered) was not as cheap as others comment in their reviews, especially when you add the cost of thinner lenses due to my high prescription.<br><br>The time for delivery was ridiculous as well - ordered on March 10th and only delivered today, April 4th! I was so looking forward to my new glasses, but am very disappointed. Now I have to send them back for inspection, which could take another 3 weeks! I have a bad feeling they will argue with me, so am going to have them checked before I send them off. <br><br>My use of Zenni came from the recommendation of a friend, and I had mentioned Zenni to another friend due to their prices, but will definitely now tell her to wait for sales elsewhere at bricks and mortar stores in order to get progressives that are correct.
