"oh wow - not surprised to see all the poor ratings of Vitaglo! Would have been way better had I checked their reviews before I ordered anything from them, but they are a terrible website - warning: DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THEM, EVER! Terrible customer service as well. The order was never shipped, until i called to follow up three weeks later and that's when they initiated the shipping. Extremely poorly run business, run away from it."
"YIKES!! This was one of the worst on-line purchases I have ever made in my life. On 7/26/12 I ordered six yoga blocks online, followed up by an order confirmation from VitaGlo. I never received the product and emailed them on 8/17/12 inquiring about the order. Never heard anything back, so I called their toll free number. After about 10-12 rings, a man picked up and without a hello, says "hang on"; I waited several minutes and the man comes back saying "order number." I give it to him and he tells me the order was cancelled, they couldn't find the product. I ask why I was never notified and he says "yes, we sent you an email." I told him I did not receive anything and he says "don't do this." And I simply said, "really, I haven't received anything from you." And he says, "you're right, we're wrong, good-bye" and HANGS UP ON ME! "
"I've ordered from vitaglo for the last time. Having ordered from them numerous times I can tell you how they operate. IF they have your products in stock they will ship them out quickly. BUT if they don't have them in stock they will hold your entire order if and until they get them in. They will charge your credit card immediately but don't necessarily ship immediately. Once in 2010-2011 they not only didn't ship me a product I'd ordered they never bothered to tell me that they weren't ever going to get it in (the manufacturer quit making it). MONTHS later I called them asking about it and they then refunded my money (actually they said they were going to; I never checked). More recently it took thenm ~ 12 days to send an order out. I called 1 week in to ask about it - on a Saturday - and they said that it had gone out the previous day (Friday). The following Tuesday I called again because it hadn't arrived. The same gruff, brusque guy answers the phone and tells me that they were waiting on the product and that it would be going out Tuesday. I point out to him that he had personally told me on Saturday that it had gone out on Friday. The verbal wizard fumbles around and tells me he'll call me back. Which of course he doesn't. Wednesday - today - I call back again. Same schmuck answers the phone. I tell him that I've spoken to him twice already and I need to talk to a manager. He hangs up on me. I call back again and speak to a less-than-eager-to-please woman who refuses to identify herself as an owner or a manager. I demand a tracking number or tell them that I want to cancel the order. Upon receiving the UPS number they hang up on me again. Never - ever - ever - will I do business with them again. AVOID. Try Soap.com or Vitacost.com."
"I like to order from these guys because they have the best, or nearly the best, prices on unscented soaps. (Although some prices have crept up slightly, they're still very competitive.) I've placed three or four orders over the last couple years and have not had any problems. They've earned a repeat customer here.UPDATE: Had a really bad experience with them last Christmas (after this initial review) that basically mirrored what all these other reviews have said. Two weeks after placing an order I received nothing and had to call the owner. "It's going out today." It didn't go out until much later. Took three weeks to get my order. The acid indigestion that comes from dealing with the owner is just not worth the price difference. Go to Swanson Health Products instead."
"I have the oddest feeling that most of these 1 star reviews are from SEO companies the competition has hired to slam vitaglo. i have ordered more than 30 times from them over the past 2 years and only had one issue which they quickly resolved. They have some of the best prices on the net and likely attract competitors attempting to slam them. "

I emailed the company and ask for order status. I got email back from UPS saying that UPS has received electronic info about the shipment for my order. I was panic - it's been 2 weeks and they just have now shipped my items! and I'm leaving the country within 4 days. I called the company first thing in the morning, the man who answered the phone was very rude and put me on hold someone else picked up and ask what's the order#?(that's it no please or any other words) I told him about the situation and want to see if he could do anything for me. He took my phone # and said he'll call and hung up.I called the company the 2nd time the same thing happened, he said I told you this morning I have your number and I will call and Hung up.I waited till the evening hoping he hasn't ship out the items and will pay for extra cost of for faster delivery. I called again for 3rd time. Same thing happened, he plainly said, the order went out it will be there on Tuesday nothing he could do (NOT A SINGLE MENTION ABOUT PARTIAL SHIPMENT! OR INFORM ME THAT I WON'T RECEIVE THE WHOLE ORDER!). But I'm leaving on Saturday! then he said it was my false for not inform them about me leaving the country! EXCUSE ME! why didn't the company inform me about the delay! He said if he could have known that I was leaving he would have ship them sooner!!! what!?! Why did you wait 2 weeks to ship it? I argued with him and asking for a refund and I'll have the box return to sender but he said that he doesn't sell these items there will be no refund! he hung up. I ordered these products off of his website, if he doesn't sell them why are they on his website available for purchase!!!!The 3rd time he hung up on me was the last draw on top of that when it came in it was only part of the order which I had no idea! Luckily I didn't postpone my travel date and pay extra fee to wait for the products!!!!!"

"Clearly the good reviews on here are written by Mike the guy that answers the phone and accosts you at Vitaglo., I agree with all the bad reviews on this site about this company. They lie about when your order is shipped and treat people like they are stupid. Maybe on the off chance that you get your order without having to actually call customer service the experience might be rather painless, but if you have to call them for any reason, forget it you will be treated like crap by Mike. Shun this company so they will go bankrupt and close their business...and mike...GO F*%K YOURSELF, I HOPE U GO BROKE!!!"
"I am a practicing midwife working in the extreme rural Midwest. I purchase supplies for not just my practice but the entire community I serve and thus frequently order several hundreds of dollars at a time, frequently several times a month. I used to work almost exclusively with Vitacost and cannot say enough good things about them but, due to changes in our Post Office situation (USPS economy and having to start using a PO number rather than physical delivery) was looking around for a new supplier and thought I would try Vitaglo.Never, not once, over the past 43 years have I had to deal with someone so utterly scattered and hostile. This company appears to be run by just one person who is obviously overworked and thus inclined to project his own frustration onto others. Because he does not allow customers to finish their sentences he jumps to conclusions that he then insists are accurate. Over the years I have experienced terribly tangled orders that have taken patience and time to resolve online/phone and yet have never -until today!- had a vendor hang up on me. If you are a family and not in a rush for anything the low prices and shipping arrangement may work well for you. If, however, you are a busy professional, do not put yourself through this. "
"Well, I can only confirm the bad reviews. I had ordered castile soap and waited 2 weeks for the shipment. When called they told me that they are out of one item but I should have the whole order in 4 days. When this did not happen I called again and the rude guy told me he would check the order and hang up on me. I waited a few hours, checked my email and called again. I was told be the same guy he has to check and was put on hold. The fourth call to this strange company was answered with "you can call a hundred times it won't help you".I asked my credit card company to resolve the problem. They need a slap on their hand and... Beware of this company or whatever it is, stay away from them."
"Avoid doing business with this vendor. They will not tell you if the item is out of stock. I have to send SEVERAL emails to request them to cancel the order since they don't have the items in stock, but they didn't respond. I have to settle the dispute with them via Paypal and then they finally granted the refund. Very frustrated with doing business with them. Time is money, and save the time for yourself."
"Avoid at all costs. If your item is out of stock, they don't tell you. You have to call to find out. They don't answer emails. When you call them on the phone they are very rude. They hung up on me last time I called, and I behaved in a very polite manor. This is the only time I have ever had such a bad time with a yahoo store. Once again AVOID these people."
