"Ordered and paid for my glasses with a cc. Two weeks after they was due, I rang to follow them up. Their message made me a little worried that I had been scammed an a quick Google search didn't exactly ease my mind, but I finally, after 5 weeks, I received my order.
It happens to be 3 weeks after my wife’s birthday - so of course I had already had to run out and buy her another gift. Expensive cheap glasses, but at least they arrived. "

"The worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered 2 sets of glasses. 2 weeks after my order I was advised that one of them was unavailable. I keep receiving emails titled 'Stock Confirmed – Dispatch After Quality Control Approval Clearance' regarding the second set.
They keep advising that the glasses are 7-14 days away, then a couple of weeks later send another email telling me they're still 7-14 days away.
I had to file a complaint with mastercard to get my money back.
"Ordered from Vision Direct for Christmas present on 13 dec 2010. Got confirmation back straight away. Said 7-10 working days. Rang 2-3 times & talked with operator who assures that the glasses are genuine Pradas from Italy. Didn't arrive for xmas. Rang again, said there was a hold up from Italy. They have not contacted me once to tell me delivery times even though they say 7-10 days. It has now been nearly 5 weeks with NO response from them? The tracking number message has not changed from the day I ordered (left dispatch- 4-7 days).
I have rang another 2-3 times each week & every time I ring she says next week for delivery, this has happened for the last 3 weeks with No apologies, but last time she said she could refund me. Fat lot of good that is after waiting for a month so far. I still have my doubts whether they are the real deal – sunnies & company?
Not waiting longer, will get refund & go support a local business. If u order from this company, be prepared to wait at least a month."
"I will never order from this site again. My money saved was not worth the 3 weeks spent waiting to receive my contacts. This site also does not tell you that it takes 2 weeks to process an order in the first place. Terrible and ridiculous."
"One thing i would like to point out is that i should have trusted the others review and stay away from this company. Anyway, the reason i ordered from Visiondirect.com because it's price is cheaper than the previous store i ordered from. All i can say is that it's such a bad choice to order from Visiondirect.com. After placed the order, i have faxed the prescription to them with order number, but yet they canceled the order saying they can't get the other store to confirm the prescription. Called Visiondirect and their customer service is so rude that you can't communicate with them at all. Well, lesson learned and went back to place an order with Discountcontactlenses.com and there is not even a problem."
"WASTE OF TIME. After one week they could not get the lenses (Air Optix) in stock. Complete waste of time. After one week of telling me it would take 1-3 days more to get in stock they thentold me it would be a few days more.
I should have listened to the very many other reviewers here who had similar difficulty.
"WATCH OUT out for the $1.99 "Processing Fee", which (according to Customer Support) is shown only at the last page of the ordering process. That is to say, they get all your information before they mention that they're going to CHARGE YOU just for the privilege (lucky you!) of doing business with them. "
"TERRIBLE!! I have just requested a refund from them after 9 days of placing my order. After 3 days, I enquired if they had been shipped and I was told that glasses are out of stock and need to check with their supplier. 6 days later and still no word, I contacted them by phone, re-directed to a Chinese number where they hung up on me 4 consecutive times, got on live chat and requested a refund and was replied to quite rudely.
I would not order from them or recommend them to anyone. The "Customer Service" is non existent. The company is shady, with fake Australian addresses, no where does it mention that the products and service team are located in Hong Kong, and the countless bad reviews on the internet. I just hope I get my refund."
