"The rating is MOSTLY due to the OS; Vigor has tried but so far..well, I'll let the reader decide. September: system arrived within time promised;SLI did not work;some other issues; packed it up and sent it back. Second system arrived: Vigor had not updated Windows- I tried; corrupted OS;Vigor walked me through reinstalling OS,drivers, etc.; then, games would not work; again, reinstalled OS, drivers, etc; system seemed ok; Win 7 came out, tried to upgrade, OS corrupted; reinstalled OS (lost all game data from 4 years-forgot to back up this time); couple weeks pass, tried to update Vista, OS becomes corrupted, have to reload OS; w8 a few weeks, tried to update to Win 7, again system is frozen. So far, Vigor has been great but this is not what I paid for.Will be calling again to get help in getting my 2k plus paperweight back working.I do not blame Vigor for the OS issues however, my system issues have been what they have been."

Between, not totally knowing what I'm doing, and trying to sneak in this order without my wife knowing, has been a little challenging. "If I had to choose one word to describe my experience with Vigor Gaming, it would probably be "amazing".
I did a fair amount of research before deciding which builder to go with. Vigor's prompt and ridiculously detailed responses to my questions, and their willingness to help me pick parts for my system based on what I needed to do made the decision pretty easy.
Anthony spent probably more than an hour on the phone with me while we hammered out all the details. He remained friendly and helpful throughout the entire conversation, despite my endless barrage of questions.
I just received the system we configured, and it is up and running right now. I cannot even begin to tell you how perfect it is. After dealing with Vigor I know I got exactly the best system for my needs and will have the longevity I desired.
I have already and will continue to recommend Vigor to anyone looking for a custom gaming system!"
"I purchased an Atlantis from Vigor. The ordering process was very easy and they offer a vast selections. Shipping time is just as promised and packaging was tremandous. When I received the package, it looked like UPS took it to a WWF match and upon openning the package, I was surprised to find another box inside with no damage whatsoever. Anyway, after I plugged in everything, the notebook turned on without any issue. I had it for a few months now and it had been great, especially when I am playing WOW. I highly recommend this company to whomever looking for a new computer."

I spent only about 5 minutes with their tech support and they cross shipped a new power supply to me. I have to say their tech support is Incredible. Now my computer works perfectly again. "The waiting is the hardest part. I knew this when I ordered based on what I've read here. Any computer you buy is going to be as good as the sum of all it's parts no matter who you get it from. I chose Vigor, first, on what other comsumers have said and secondly, on the price... I could not match the low price per feature at any of the other gaming builders sites. The two of the other top names I was researching also had very happy customers, but if a could save a few hundred dollars then that's the way to go. I am glad I chose Vigor because I did save some money and got a high performance computer that exceeded my expectations. I didn't have a lot of correspondence with customer service, but what little I did their response was quick. The one time I called I didn't have to wait long and I was satisfied with the outcome. I went with the Force Recon T7N and from what I read on various websites about the configuration there may be a bit of overkill on the power, but even Tim the Toolman would have to agree there is no such thing as too much power, because you never know what your going to need down the road. It does everything I want it to do and it's a relief not to have to play with settings just to get a decent frame rate. Thank you Vigor, I highly recommend this company and would have know problem buying from them again, hopefully they will still be around for the next one!"
"I had been planning for months to order a custom built computer and spent a great deal of time researching the different online shops. I narrowed it down to three stores and ultimately decided on Vigor because of their outstanding ratings here and because of their very competitive pricing.
The most difficult part of the process for me was having to wait for my computer, but that is no fault of Vigor's. I ordered on May 5th and the computer was delivered on May 28th. Chuck was a huge help prior to me placing the order. It was obvious that he knew what he was talking about and that he wasn't trying to upsell me. Also, he was honest about the shortage of GTX295s and convinced me to go with an SLI setup of GTX275s (which, according to online reviews, is a better and cheaper solution).
The good: The employees at Vigor are very friendly and knowledgeable, and when they don't know something they get someone who does. The computer itself is OUTSTANDING! Incredibly fast, stable (after an update; see below), and it's obvious that they took a lot of time with the wiring to make sure airflow was good. I am rocking incredible frame rates at the highest settings on all of the most demanding games.
The bad: The only issue for me was that my computer was not overclocked by Vigor. When I called about it, they said that I didn't request it which was a bit frustrating since there is not an option to request overclocking on their order page and they didn't ask if I'd want it when they called to confirm my order. I would have thought that overclocking the system would be understood particularly with the configuration I chose (ie the HUGE fan cooling the processor!). I was able to overclock the system myself, but I would have preferred them doing it for me since they're the experts.
I also experienced the dreaded "blue screen of death" four times with three different games, but that issue seems to have been resolved with a Windows update. :)
Overall, I highly recommend Vigor Gaming for their great work and value. You'd be hard pressed to find a company that delivers so much without overcharging.
