"They are unwilling to help you with returns. They shipped me my new mb and 2.6ghz celeron, and it was DOA. I had to pay $15.00 to ship it back. Everything that I saw with the two things pointed to a bad mb. They replaced the processor and not the mb. Said that the mb was fine. I got it back, over a month after purchase, and it is stil dead. I tested the processor in another machine and it works fine. So it is a bad mb, but I am not sending it back, because I can get another, better Intel mb for $50. Why pay $15.00 more for a total of $30.00 when I can get the new one for $50. Please do not buy from them, they will not help you after the sell. Not to mention they have employees that don't speak English very well, you have to constantly repeat yourself, or have them repeat themselves."
"I have had nothing but problems with this company. They have not shipped my product after 7 days. Was not informed product was not instock till I contacted company after 5 days. Even though web page still shows it in stock as of today. They took the time to call me to try to get me to upgrade but couldnt inform me my product wasnt in stock. I was basicly forced to upgrade that cost me 10 dollars more just to get my product shipped as I was told would ship that day. It 2 days later and product still has not shipped. Do not do biz with company. Got info from pricewatch"
"This company is ridiculous. I ordered some parts for a system on 7/11 and then I had a salesman call me and try to sell me a bunch of stuff that I didn't need. After that, the system didn't ship. On 7/22 I cancelled the order. Don't order from these guys."
Ordered Motherboard/combo, payed for the pretesting and it arrives DOA. Also paid extra for 1 year warranty. Everything works fine when you order from them, but their RMA Link has alot of problems, also Telephone # on the Website does not work. Finally got an RMA # and ship board and processor back to them. Now I get an email saying that for $25 more and $15 shipping they will expedite my order and replace it immediately otherwise it will be 7 to 10 days before they go through 3 levels of testing, and their say is final, if they find the board/cpu is ok then they charge me a $25 fee for testing and I have to pay for the shipping. "
"This place sucks!!!! Enough said. I tried to buy a pricewatch.com special ram deal from them and they were still trying to varify something!!! I am sorry but it doesnt take 6 days for a business to process an order!! So i will give you some advice do not buy from these guys unless you are willing to get ripped off."
"Company using delay tactics to try and get me to buy more expensive options. 5 days after order was placed got a phone call telling me that for $19.95 they could upgrade from OEM, then 2 days after that send email tellling me that for more money I could again upgrade from OEM. Now at the 10 day mark and order has not yet shipped. I will never use them again and suggest you do the same."
"Order received in reasonable time. CPU fan arrived broken. No response from Customer Service after emailing problem, just this survey offer. Would like to see better instructions on installing Athlon CPUs. Specifically heat sink paste."
"Another echo of the same problem- I started with BZBoys, and after they wanted to upsell me to another board for $15 each (x2 ordered), I cancelled and ordered (unknowingly) with Tufshop. I haev received call after call.. at home while I'm working, or at my office after hours, when I'm gone home. The wanted credit card and licence verification, so I faxed it to them... three days ago. Still no order progress, and when I called them in California, they said their system was down and they'd call me back with an update. In my opinion, this is a classic bait and switch. They attract customers with low prices that they don't honor, and then try to upgrade/upsell. If you don't bite on the deal, they lose interest in shipping anything to you."
"This company is absoultely Awesome!! Not only did I get all my stuff at the "Best " Prices it even arrived early..Then they call and check up on you to see if it was ok,Now thats Service! I would Buy from them again.David B."
"I was pretty disappointed when I recieved the video card I ordered - I paid an extra $20 to upgrade to a retail box and all I got was an extra s-video cable lumped in with the video card and driver cd packaged in bubble wrap. The only box was the cardboard box the items were shipped in."
"Everthing was great exceptI didn't see the need to assume I wanted a different keyboard than I ordered. Other than that all came in a very timely matter and as expected. I wouldbuy from you again."
"Avoid this online reseller at all costs. I recently ordered an upgrade processor,(Athlon XP 2100 Palomino Core). The problems begin when I receive the shipment and check the cpu identifier, sure enough I've been sent a Thoroughbred core version. I go the website to submit an RMA request informing them that I have been shipped the wrong part. I am told that according to the company's terms and conditions of sale, the return has to be judged 'functioning and not damaged in any way' (reasonable) before an exchange or refund is issued. Several days later I've yet to hear from them so I send an email inquiry. I'm told the cpu has been received, tested and deemed in working order. I respond with a simple question, is the correct part I ordered available, and if not may I request a refund. Two days later, no response, I email again requesting the status of my RMA request. I get an apology for the delay and told I will have an answer the next day. Four more days pass, no follow up. I email again expressing my dissatisfaction with how this matter is being handled demanding an immediate refund including all my shipping expenses considering the entire incident is a result of tufshop.com's shipping error. I get a quick response to this message and am told that I will receive a refund but according to the company's terms and conditions am to be charged a restocking fee and am not eligible for a refund of my shipping costs. I decide it's time to talk with someone live and call their contact number. The instant I hear the reps voice I know I'm in trouble. I fully support legal immigrants working and conducting business in this country, but in matters such as this the inability of an individual to communicate effectively in the English language is a serious obstacle. As I state my case, make points, and generally try to establish a dialog, I get long pauses, and broken responses that suggest to me this individual is barely able to understand what I'm saying. He stops abruptly, asks for my phone number and tells me someone will call within the next 30 minutes. Six hours later I call once again, yet another English challenged company rep answers the phone. I again begin to plead my case, then he stops me and asks me to wait. He apparently sets the phone down and for the next 20 minutes all I hear is someone tapping on a keyboard and multiple voices in the background. It's pretty obvious at this point I've been forgotten, and hang up. I call back for the next hour and no one ever answers the phone. This a glaring example of neglect, indifference, and incompetence, and it's inexcusable. This morning I get an email that my refund is being processed, no mention however of the restock charge, or my shipping expenses. More to come...."
"It's been a pleasure doing business with you. You are one of the few companies that offer motherboard-cpu combos. Which was a great saving from buying them separately. A toll free phone number would have help with questions that I had about compatability. For your online chat was alway very busy or resulted in an email with a slow response time. Your order status site could use some work. But, I recieve the items very fast. Once again, it's been a pleasure. Thanks"

Used all infro from Surpluscomputers.com in a exact copy and paste and order was cancled after a week. No logical reason was given. Called for information and got a male on a cellphone in trafic. Did not return my call either."
"This is scam; Looks like they buy brocken used hardware, then resell it. You will never get any thing working from them. Good luck"
