Going on 4 weeks they have received the product I returned. I have the tracking number to prove it. Multiple calls later I still have not been credited for the $858.99 they owe me. Now I do not have the camera because I mailed it to them. Neither do I have the money I paid for it.
I didn't know they mostly deal in Gray Market products. These products are not supported by the manufacturer. They sell an extended warranty through Mack as a substitute but I've read horror stories about people getting Mack to honor their warranty in a reasonable manner.
Why should I need to keep calling them to refund my money? They owe it to me and if they were ethical they would have done it right away. If I don't pester them I probably would have never recieved the refund even though they have the returned product. Filed a fraud complaint with my bank. Opened a complaint with better business bureau. Next is contacting the attourney general of NY. What a nightmare!
"Purchased a camera of a certain color, out of stock (understandable). Was offered another color, which turns out to be $20+ cheaper than what I paid for the color I ordered. I feel that I should have been automatically refunded the extra amount I paid, since I paid for a certain color, and received the same product of a different color but priced lower."
First i placed my order yesterday and was called to verify information, I opted for expedited shipping and ask Able when the TV would be shipped and was told in a few days.
Then I get an email this morning that requested I call Peter. I called Peter and the first thing he let me know was that the TV was to big to ship UPS and that expedited shipping would be $500 +. I immediately cancelled the order.
What they did get right was cancelling my order - I will give them that.
" Outstanding! I turned to TriState after an unsatisfactory experience with another internet seller. The current order was my second TriState order within about two weeks. Both orders, SLIK 700DX tripod and Canon OC-E3 flash cord, were competitively priced and readily available. Both orders were shipped promptly and received within just a few days. The only negative, which is very minor and not meant to distract from my overall opinion of TriState, is that shipping and handling is charged on some items and not others. "Free" S&H is pretty common for internet photo equipment vendors today. Interestingly, the tripod, about 10 pounds, shipped free. The flash cord, feather-light by comparison, was charged shipping and handling. I am a very satisfied TriState buyer. As a serious amateur photographer, I will definitely consider TriState whenever I start looking for the next "toy" for my camera bag."

"Awesome phone follow-up with details on a better lens than what I purchased for the same price! He was awesome and called within hours of my order. Shipping was super fast and everything I ordered was here much earlier than expected and just what he said. Loved the experience!"
