"I placed an order with this company on the 26th of August. I paid the priority shipping, which promises delivery within 7 days. I just received an email telling me that my order has been processed. It is September 5th. They are saying it will ship out shortly. Are they serious? I called customer service, and they said they could not help with online orders. I have NEVER EVER EVER heard of such nonsense. I wish I would have read the other online reviews before I ordered from this ripoff company. I will never order anything from them again, and I will deter others that I know from ordering from here!!!!! Total scam!!"
"THIS IS THE WORST STORE EVER! DON'T EVER BUY UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE THROWING MONEY AWAY. althought some of the prices are good YOU GET RIPPED OFF WITH SHIPPING! i ordered 4 shugo chara plushies, a domo shirt, a hello kitty hat, and a gloomy bear hat in NOVEMBER 2010! for christmas. i went on vacation and returned with a package on my door step containing the 2 hats i ordered and 2 of the dolls. no invoice. i emailed "alex" to say that i was missing the domo shirt and 2 plushies, i even attached the comefermation of my oreder they sent. about 2 months later i get an email back saying "oh" or something for the paragaph i typed. i tryed again no responce this time. also don't even bother try calling the store, they won't answer. now it is JULY 2011! and i am not waiting for my delivery anymore i contacted paypal and hope to get a refund. this website should be shut down. never ever will i order again. there is not a chance."
"I ordered 2 10" plush Yoshi's for my kids on 6/19 and after a week (6/28) I had to call them to get an update because I received no reply that they received my order or anything. The representative said that the carrier had just picked up my order and that it should take about 4-5 days and at the same time the rep sent me an email showing my order and tracking #. This should have been done without any intervention from me. My order arrived at my door on 7/1 and to my surprise (sarcasm)it was wrong. The Yoshi's I ended up receiving were the 12" running ones instead of the 10" sitting ones (at least the colors were right) one of them were in plastic and the other was not and there was no packaging to ensure that no damage would come to the contents inside. Now I understand that these are plush, but professional companies make every effort to ensure that the product(s) they send are protected. Obviously Toys & Joys don't hold the same standards. I was going to send them back but I figured my kids wanted them so badly I would present it to them and let them decide. Luckily they loved them so I lucked out there. So all in all their whole online business process needs a lot of work. If one is expecting service like Amazon or some other big online retailer then Toys N Joys isn't the place, but they do have a lot of video game and anime paraphernalia that other online retailers don't. Unfortunately I didn't know about their online business issues until after I placed an order. Would I order from there again? Heck NO!"
"As for the matter of the services of this company, I would agree with those negative responses. I would like to order once but my friends, majority of them says that I should not, and I cannot blame them since your company showed them a poor system of customer service. Orders have not been delivered on time and some of the personnel cannot justify the reason why such shortcomings occur. Anyways, better to have a new and improve system so as not to experience these awful things again."
"I orderd from this company three time. First pkg arrived good, second PKG was $89CDN and I recieved one $4.95 lanyard, the other items have not arrived at all!!?? The third PKG was ordered just after the second PKG, (if only I knew better at that time) It was PVC mario toys that had all the faces pushed in. (at least it arrived, I guess). I Have phoned/emailed company several times with no reply!!!! I have left messages with no reply?? I do not recommend this company, at all!! Customer service might as well be a bunch of monkey's."
"The first mistake Toys n Joys made with me was listing their items as brand new,unused,never opened. I wish you the best at recieving your items as listed because I never did. Customer service could care less if you are not happy with their mistakes, like its no big deal to them. Seeing I had credit on my return, I called and dealt with a sales rep who stated they had a brand new item for me. It arrived used and once again I had the pleasure of dealing with them again. Finished with any more purchases I requested a refund, every time they tried to rip me off on the amount owed and I had to phone them again. Thank goodness I paid with paypal, after opening a claim with them I was refunded in full by paypal. In all, Toys n Joys has an untrustworthy web site, worthless customer service and sales reps. Even management will lie to you and attempt to scam you. They have postive feedback left by their employees because they do not have many real customers who are pleased with them.(pretty sad if you ask me) I'd stay clear of these guys, can't be trusted at all. The place is run like a small used car lot. "

"I really wish I had read these reviews before I ordered fromm them. I only received part of my order. charged for the whole thing though. It's been about 3 months and I STILL HAVENT received any info about the whereabouts of the rest of my order. I have tried calling and emailed four times. NO RESPONSE,Also, the website didn't say the item was on backorder. When I received part of my order they sent a xeroxed note telling me it was. I wouldn't have ordered it had I known it wasnt in stock"
"I ordered a toy from here January 17th 2011. I received a confirmation email right away saying it would ship out. On March 8th the item still had not arrived when I had chosen shipping that would take 8-10 business days, so I decided to email them. No response. I sent another email on February 28th, now over a month after I had ordered it, no response again. After opening a dispute with paypal in March, they finally gave me a refund email on March 30th. It is April 6th and I am still waiting for the actual refund to post to my account and have emailed them again. Terrible business, do not order from here! They didn't care at all about customer service, and after three months of waiting didn't even send an email or explanation as to why I hadn't received my items! "

"A bunch of friggin crooks. I collect Anime figures, and one day while browsing the internet looking for a rare out of production figure. I found one on their site, and at a very good price or so I thought. I wished I had read all of the reviews on them before I had placed an order. Lets just say many, many, many, weeks later no FIGURE, and no REFUND!! They said the item was not in stock even though their website says it is in stock. After tons of e-mails saying the item would soon be shipped, or that I am about to receive a refund to which I have not gotten either one!! Do youself a big fat favor and don't do business with these crooks I learned my lesson the hard way!!!"

"9 months ago I ordered a game. After a month of not receiving it or hearing from them I wrote, and wrote and wrote. I received a couple responses which said it was backordered-would have been nice to know this from them first. I have asked several times for a refund to my credit card but they refuse to refund me for the game I never recieved. They have stolen over $40.00 from me and never sent the game or a refund. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they ignored them too. Don't buy from them."
"I just ordered their online special of electronic plushie on December 22 2010,Their price was very low for a set of 4 of this plushies because on other online shopping sites each cost around $15 each but on them i got for only $20. It took my order to get to me for about two weeks. my order arrive on January 6 2010. This was unexpected because i taught that it would never arrived due to i didnt receive any email. But then i read on their website that their last shipping on 2010 was on December 15 for US priority mail. So when the package arrive i saw on the box (which is in a very good condition) that they sent it on January 2 2011. and i found my mistake that i never got an email because i typed the wrong email address on my receipt.. so i think that you really need patience for this site... Look now i had my order now currently sitting on my bed.. Patience is needed remember .. they somewhat need time to get your order and please understand them... i barely forgot the order until it came to our house.. see they try their best to give us satisfaction. just give them a chance..(my order was a set of 4 jakks pacific electronic plushie includes 10" plushies of croagunk,prinplup,grotle,and monferno).all if it was fine to me just the delay of order.but i also realized my mistake..."
"I preordered the Zekrom and Reshiram Plamo kit in mid October, and received an email saying it was backordered and would be shipped within 2 weeks. I thought, "Ok, it should be here by Christmas, I guess it's all right." Over a month later, I still get no response. Vexed, I email them twice but no reply. I called them, and nobody answered. In early December, I found a kind member on my Pokemon collecting community and bought the same thing for $10 less. I then emailed them saying I would like to cancel the order. They actually replied and told me the stock would arrive 12/18. I decllined and told them to please cancel it. So they replied and said "Ok, we'll cancel it."WELL GUESS WHAT? ON DECEMBER 18, I RECIEVED AN EMAIL SAYING THAT THEY SHIPPED THE ORDER THAT I CANCELLED. I received the beaten and bruised box on 12/23/2010. This is a disappointment. I want my money back!"
