"Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!!!Ordered a toner for my school (HP9000)... got a DOA toner (would not work)... Tried over and over to contact the company.. No one would call me, you cannot reach them at their ph# listed nor leave them a voice message, just the email form on their website (you can't even cc yourself)... After several submissions on their email form, I get the following:Please describe the problem you are having. You can send it back to following address. Attn: LeoRMA XXXXXXX1881 Merced AveSouth El Monte, CA 91733 ( I already described the issue multiple times and in multiple email submissions)According to their web site..."- Defective On Arrival (DOA) [Excludes OEM products]We test every cartridge thoroughly before it is shipped from our warehouse. Nevertheless, if our cartridge is proven to be defective on arrival, we will replace it at no extra charge. You must return the defective cartridge to us. You must report us DOA within 45 days from the date product is shipped."The school is not going to cover the cost of shipping for a blatant neglect of quality control and piss poor service. The school is already under tons of budget cuts as it is... I tried contacting them again and quoted their DOA policy... they replied several days later with:We issued RMA on 17th. Please send it back to following address for an exchange.Attn: LeoRMA XXXXXXX1881 Merced AveSouth El Monte, CA 91733 I tried contacting them again and again, no word at all... Now they get to fight with my credit card company... Good luck toner clowns...er... I mean pirates."
"They shipped defective product. After I returned the product, they shipped back the same defective product. Also it is impossible to reach them when you have a problem."
"Same outfit as ZINYAW, LLC. I strongly recommend not using this merchant. They do not honor their commitments, send emails with misstruths, and are extremely deficient in communications (i.e., it's all on you to follow-up).Ordered a bundle of 4 color laser toner cartridges 12/7/07 through "Buy Now" on Ebay. Immediately paid with Paypal. Automatically generated email 12/11/07 saying "order has been completed successfully" with UPS tracking number.Started wondering in a few days why UPS not showing pick-up. Finally emailed and called phone # 713/669-9039 from website which is in Houston. Many times no answer to phone, but eventually got email on 12/19 saying "I am sorry. There was a mistake in warehouse. I will get it shipped today." Another email 12/21 now saying, "We shipped it late. It is on the way."Now the fun starts. Finally get a box on 12/29/07 but only sent 3 of 4 toner cartridges. Again I have to call and email. On 1/4/08 I finally get an email saying "Hi We sent you missing toner via 2nd day."Today on 1/10/08 still no missing toner. Call Houston and finally get told nothing was shipped and will have to wait 2 more weeks before shipping since their supplier is out of stock. In fact, all fulfillment is donw from California.After harsh words I get reimbursement for one missing toner cartridge (I hope) and no compensation for doing their follow-up. They claim they cannot track and have no idea what's shipped or not and they make mistakes. NO KIDDING!!In summary, due to their slow and cryptic communication, lack of customer service, and untruthfulness I strongly recommend doing your business elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE."
"Ordered several items for both work and home . Requested shipping to workplace due to problems with being present for home delivery and concerns about losing any packages left on my doorstep. Absolutely no problems at all with placing the order, shipping, and everything was well packed and in good condition. "OMG What a problem, I ordered a complete set or toners for a HP 5500. Only recieved 3 of the 4. Tried to contact Tonerpirate, The don't answer their phone... EVER, can't leave a message, I could only email to them, The then took two weeks to respond to one of the many emails. Then they say they show it complete. Now I'm back to sending email in vein. Now it is the end of October, Still no resolution, Can't even contact them. It seems they have no such thing as customer service. Buy from this outfit at YOUR OWN RISK!"
"Competitive prices, good service. UPS damaged the shipping box so badly that the box inside was damaged, cracking open the toner cartridge and spilling toner out inside the sealed plastic wrap. (Each cartridge was foam-packed inside, so this required a major impact by shipper to damage a double-wrapped cartridge.) Toner Pirate sent me a free UPS return label and promised to cross-ship a replacement cartridge as soon as the damaged one was on the way. And they did! Their only customer service is a slow response via email and there is no phone number.Unfortunately, I replaced my original yellow toner cartridge with one from Toner Pirate, and the print quality has declined. Their customer service has been unhelpful, and I may drop them from my vendor list.Update January 15, 2009:I have since discontinued doing business with this vendor. Their toner quality is poor and their customer service poorer. "
