"I purchased this brand new samsung series 5 laptop from tigerdirect.comOrder number of J3564760-0101, laptop randomly shut down and fan was running fast when it is idle.Called samsung for service, and they let me restore the computer.However, fan runs still noticebly fast when is in idling, pc shutdown randomly again,I called tigerdirect for refund since its defective, they refused to refund me back the money because it has limited return previligies??? , they want to send me the another defective unit by only accepting exchanges. Sometimes i do know some stores exceptionally accepts return if its defective laptops or pcs.However, this company only let you change for identical item, Totally dissapointing, i wont shop from tigerdirect anymore, since their return policy is not allow me to buy a product from them. Agent only reads the return policy, does not listen to what i am saying. As long as they read off the policy, it is their duty to let me know, No more tiger."

"I had the worst experience ever with TigerDirect. I purchased a 42" refurbished TV. I was excited to purchase the TV for my son's "man cave". When it arrived the box was a little beat up but I thought for sure that a fragile piece of equipment would be protected. The next day we opened the box and glass started to fall out. We immediately put it back in the box. I called TigerDirect and advised them the TV was damaged. They had no problems providing the RA to return the TV however it took days to get UPS to pick up the TV and I had to go rounds with them just to get them there. The final straw had to be when I received the email stating I would receive a refund but no mention of the cost associated with the shipping which was over 50.00. I would just like to have this nightmare end but now I have to call TigerDirect again to ensure that the full amount of the purchase is refunded."
"I ordered a 2-item bundle. Came with 2 rebates. The process of filing these rebates on-line was a nightmare. Took 2 phone calls to TigerDirect customer support and 2 phone calls to the Rebate Center. Probably spent an hour on the phone. In order to get to the Rebate Center from The TigerDirect home page you have to click the Help menu. Now isn't that obvious? At the Rebate Center I entered my order number. No rebates offers were found. 1st phone call - agent could also not find offers based on order #.Had to look up the order then find the rebates from the products. He gave me 2 rebate item IDs. I entered the first - no rebate found "oh I forgot to tell you there is a - in the ID. Found the rebate offer as a PDF with a non-clickable "link" Followed the link the hard way.Got a form to fill in - did so, clicked continue - got a 2nd form - filled it in, clicked continue, got a brief progress message then nothing more. Called the Rebate Center (very difficult voice activated menu) got an agent who asked me for the tracking number. I read her the only tracking number I had which she did not like. "It is in the email you just got" (which I did not know was coming). Found the email. Tried to use the rebate tracking number online - "no rebate found". Agent had manually complete it for me.Tnen I started all over again with the 2nd rebate. This time the Rebate Center agent asked me if I'd like spend a dollar to expedite the rebate. I asked what expedite meant. "You'll get the rebate in about 4 weeks instead of the normal 14 weeks.""

"Never, never again will I use TigerDierct. I have been using them on and off since '06 while deployed overseas, but this last purchase has ruined it all. It started 2/9 when I ordered a Network Tester(NT), no issues. Two weeks later, still no NT. I waited another two weeks because I am in Afghanistan and mail can be funny sometimes. I ended up calling TD to find out that had already received the NT back. TD refunded he amount, minus S/H. I ended the call with with the guy whowas wanting me to reorder it and called C/S to deal wit the refund. C/S said that they would refund the S/H, and I reordered the NT. Two hours after I placed the order I called back because I did not receive an invoice and that my Credit Card was charged more then what I had ordered. Shortly after I received an invoice and it had my address backwards. I called TD again, spoke to C/S about it and he explained why the first order(J3159327) was cancelled. He said it was cancelled because this item can not be shipped to APO,AE. I top shim to cancel the order cause TD can not ship it here, but they were going to charge me again and try to ship it. 5 days later I am charged the 97 and change for an item that they knew could not be shipped to APO, and that was cancelled. So now, I have to wait probably another 15-30 days for the item to go back to TD and for me to FINALLY get refund. Never again."

"Bought a new 55" TCL TV from TigerDirect beginning of the year, the TV looked ok in the store and I was supposed to get the Rebate for the TV as well. I called the rebate center numerous time to enquire where the rebate is, but kept getting told that they have not received it yet and I must call back the following week. I even paid the extra to get the rebate expedited!!! After using it for 20 days I called to ask for store credit because I was not happy with the quality of the TV and wanted to get a different brand, but was told no.I accepted that, as I was anyway still waiting for my rebate.THE REBATE STILL HAS NOT COME AFTER 2 MONTHS, AND NOW I'M STUCK WITH THE TV IM NOT EVEN HAPPY WITH.THIS EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME 4 YEARS AGO. I GOT AN RA AND THEN WHEN I TRIED TO SEND THE ITEM BACK WAS TOLD THAT THE REPRESENTATIVE DID IT IN ERROR AND HE WAS NO LONGER THERE AND THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT THE COMPUTERS (3 OF THEM) BACK!!I VOWED NEVER TO SHOP THERE AGAIN, AND DIDNT TILL THIS YEAR, AND NOW THIS HAPPENSTOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.HOW CAN I NOT EVEN GET STORE CREDIT!!!"
