"Bought a new 55" TCL TV from TigerDirect beginning of the year, the TV looked ok in the store and I was supposed to get the Rebate for the TV as well. I called the rebate center numerous time to enquire where the rebate is, but kept getting told that they have not received it yet and I must call back the following week. I even paid the extra to get the rebate expedited!!!
After using it for 20 days I called to ask for store credit because I was not happy with the quality of the TV and wanted to get a different brand, but was told no.
I accepted that, as I was anyway still waiting for my rebate.
THE REBATE STILL HAS NOT COME AFTER 2 MONTHS, AND NOW I'M STUCK WITH THE TV IM NOT EVEN HAPPY WITH.
THIS EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME 4 YEARS AGO. I GOT AN RA AND THEN WHEN I TRIED TO SEND THE ITEM BACK WAS TOLD THAT THE REPRESENTATIVE DID IT IN ERROR AND HE WAS NO LONGER THERE AND THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT THE COMPUTERS (3 OF THEM) BACK!!
I VOWED NEVER TO SHOP THERE AGAIN, AND DIDNT TILL THIS YEAR, AND NOW THIS HAPPENS
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. HOW CAN I NOT EVEN GET STORE CREDIT!!!"

"HORRIBLE customer service!!! I ordered an item for my wife's birthday. It didn't arrive. So I check my email again... maybe I missed something. Nothing. I use the order number to check their site. It says my order was cancelled. No notification, nothing. They just cancelled the order. No reason was even given. I call customer service. After 27 minutes on hold I get a guy who tells me "we just didn't have many of those." I ask why I wasn't informed days ago. "There may be a problem," he says. After being on hold for another 15 minutes a "product specialist" says, "there's basically nothing we can do at this point." He offers to waive standard shipping charges, but says it won't arrive for days anyway. By the numbers: 1 cancelled order for a product they didn't stock 45 minutes on the phone 2 unhelpful customer service reps 0 times I'll ever shop at Tiger Direct again, ever.
Follow up: TD did contact me after I posted the above review. They could not fix the original problem, but they did offer me a gift certificate in effort to make it right. Holding them accountable in a public forum was my only recourse, and it worked. "

"RE: Order Number J3458928 On March 8th I ordered a list of computer parts from Tiger Direct. The website listing(s) indicated that the items I purchased usually ship within 48 hours. After completing the shopping cart, I received an E-mail indicating the approximate arrival date of my items would be Friday 3/15/13. All of the items arrived on Friday 3/15/13 with the exception of the Zotac motherboard I ordered (Item#: YYML-MB-760GMAT). When I started looking at old emails and tracking numbers, or the lack thereof, I discovered that the Zotac motherboard had never been shipped. I had never received an E-mail or a phone call to let me know that this part would be over a week late if it was even to be shipped at all. I have become accustomed to a higher level of professionalism with regard to vendors. If you cannot ship in a timely manner, or in the manner which you have forecasted, I would expect to receive an E-mail or a phone call to let me know that the information you had given me with regard to shipment was incorrect. I would also expect an apology and expedited shipping to make up for the incompetence. Since all I got from Tiger Direct was silence and a lack of the items I purchased, I Am no longer using Tiger Direct as a parts supplier. I will also need a refund for the failure to ship my item after over a weeks time has passed. This is clearly unacceptable behavior and not that of a professional organization. I look forward to getting a refund from your incompetent staff and moving on to find reliable vendors in the future."
"I got a fantastic deal on a refurb Mitsubishi DLP TV. Everything was as promised with no surprises. Their site is not as efficient as Amazon or NewEgg, so you have to call on the phone to change or cancel an order. They have a membership program called Inner Circle for $50 a year that gives you free ground shipping on everything. Would recommend, they are quite reliable"

"im having a great experience with tiger direct, i got screwed around by ibuypoop(power) for a month and then i cancelled my order. i was browsing your site and got in touch with willie r a sales rep and he actually listened to what i needed my laptop for and found me a great one that was even 20 percent off. great job guys, you will be getting my business from now on thank you very much.
UPDATE: just wanted to let you know i got my tracking info for ups and i only ordered 4 hours ago,thanks again guys!"

"Horrible in store customer service! First I bought a laptop and THREE different people at checkout tell me that I have 30 days to RETURN the laptop and get a full refund with NO restocking fee (yes I asked). So I believe them, test out the product and it turns out to be defective and incompatible with severals products that I needed. So I try to return it and then they tell me I'm past the 14 day limit (3 people told me 30 days!!). Apparently the manager says I shouldn't believe anybody there and I should read every receipt instead. After trying to convince the manager that they lied to me and that I shouldn't be held accountable for his staff falsely informing me he ends up saying that he doesn't want to answer my questions and that hes going to call the police on me for asking questions and wanting a response! I received a Masters in Management and I know what it takes to be a manager and let me tell you, that guy doesn't deserve that position. Im going to have to lose my lunch break and go tomorrow to talk to the Operations Manager, that should be interesting. Tiger Direct/Never Again"
