"Target.com is the worst. Their CS beyond useless. Don't order something if you need it because you may end up with your order cancelled and no recompense."

"I ordered some bubble Christmas lights right after Thanksgiving assuming that I would have them well before Christmas. Within the first week I received an email that they would be back ordered and I would receive them by Dec 15. No problem these things happen. Today I received an email saying that they will be back ordered again until Dec 28. (after Christmas) I was annoyed but again these things happen but since it is after Christmas I obviously don't need the lights. I called customer service to cancel this order. I was told that they could not cancel an active order. WHAT?!? If you don't have it just push cancel.. He said I should just refuse the order when it arrives. Sorry bud but I am not here during the day. So now I get the joy of using my lunchtime to stand in line at the post office to return an item that never should have been sent then my evening will be spent with the bank disputing the charges. I am so mad that I won't ever go into a Target store again. There is a Walmart right across the street. But revenge is sweet. I will copy and paste this review to any and every site that I can find. That I don't mind spending my time doing."

"Target B&M rocks. Targets products are usually good. Target.com customer service sucks. I ordered 7 products from them for christmas. I got all of them except 1 item. The Jakks Toy Story Mania Deluxe TV Game. The ups tracking info said that the shipping info was created but the package was never given to them for delivery. I had this happen last year thru a different company. So I kinda suspected what was going on. So, I called target.com cs to find out where my packaged was. Now, when this happened last year, the other company who actually has good cs, sent an email to the warehouse it was supposed to ship from to check for the package. Turned out it had been misplaced and was still in the warehouse. I recieved the package a few days later. Target.coms answer to the same problem.... "well there is nothing we can do about it. You'll just have to wait." (in very broken english)All the while assuring me the package has been sent and blaming the mess up on usp, saying they didn't updated their tracking info. Sooooo I wait. Once the estimated arrival date has come and gone I call them back. Once agian I explained to them that the package was never sent. This time they tell me that there was a delay in shipping and the product hadn't been shipped yet. I then tell them "bull****, It doesn't take 8 days to stick a toy in a box, slap a shipping label on it and send it off. I'm not going to play the run around game. Either send my package off in a timely fashion or give me my money back." She basically then starts telling me that she will give me a $20 gift card for my troubles and that because the package was already being processed that I would just have to wait. I told her no I didn't have to wait. They had already charged me for the product and they did not provide the product. And that I wanted my money back so I can go buy it somewhere else. She has the nerve to tell me that she can't return my money because the package is in the process of shipping. Once agian I tell her bull****, I payed for the game, there for by law you either have to provide the product I payed for or give me my money back. She then tells me she will see what she can do. After a short pause on the phone she comes back and tells me she will return my money and shipping charges in full. I will never do business with target.com agian. I'm not even upset that the package didn't get shipped. It happens, It's christmas time they have alot of orders, people make mistakes. What bothers me is the customer service doesn't give a rats a**. They don't try to fix the problem unless you get angry and demand they fix it. I swear they should change there motto to "Target.com, ruining holidays 1 family at a time"."

"My experience at target.com was so negative that I'm writing my first review. Summary: order placed, no confirmation, no ability to track on-line, long phone waits (well over 1 hour total), I was told order did not go through, purchased items elsewhere & received them, 1 month later target notified me that items were about to ship, could not cancel, received items and drove to target to return, despite receipts and items in perfect condition only offered me store credit, when insisted on refund they insisted on scanning driver's license (why?). 1 month later notified me that an item that I did not order was shipping.
The stores are fine, but never use target.com!!!"

"I purchased a red hand held mixer for my mother who mentioned she wanted one. I found one on Target.com and ordered it. No problem with the shipping and came to me all in one piece. Well my mother had already gotten a mixer so I needed to return the red one. I went to Target on my lunch break to return it with the invoice that came inside of the box it was shipped in. I was only returned $41.40 (but I had paid $46.85.) They told me they couldn't refund the shipping. They asked me where my other paperwork for the item was (I left it at home, figured all I would need was the invoice that came with the item in the delivery box. So I pulled it up on my phone for them to see.)I pointed out that on my invoice it says "Return to Store for full refund." They claimed they couldn't help me with that. I asked to speak to the manager. Sherry (Manager over Customer Service at the Ft. Smith, AR store) came and said there was nothing she could do. I then asked to speak to her supervisor and all three associates including Sherry wouldn't tell me the supervisors name, just the "code word" they go by via walkie talkie. They paged the supervisor over the walkie talkie and the supervisor REFUSED to even come up and see me!!! I wasnt even irrate!!! I was pleasant during all of this! Sherry then gave me this number: 1-800-591-3869 to "try" and get my shipping back, is what she said. I called that number and told them what happened and they did refund me my money. All this for $5 bucks! NEVER again will I shop at Target OR Target.com!!"

"I wasn't sure if I was speaking to the cheapest customer service in India or if I'd been patched through to a homeless man in Tiajuana to discuss my recent order.

Target scams you by "shipping" your item, when in fact only a UPS label is created. Because it is "shipped" you can't cancel the order and get a refund. Meanwhile Target will wait for as long as they want before they actually put an item in a box to get to UPS - could be weeks."

"Only shop at Target.com if you have enough money in your account for them to charge you TWICE for the total amount. I placed an order for $252 and they charged me double, equalling to 504.32. One total charge and then small charges for each package when it shipped, equalling to the total amount. I called to have it fixed, and everything would have been resolved, no hard feelings. But instead, Target.com said it was okay because one payment will roll off 7-10 days since it is only pending. Been 5 days and overdrew my account, missed Black Friday shopping due to Target over drafting my account. Customer Service said my bank could resolve; bank tried but Target had to release the duplicate charge in order to take it off, they would not cooperate. Target 2nd level escalation team stated no one above them to speak with to resolve, they made no attempt to help me. They have no boss to speak with, only alternative is to contact guest services by email, which I had already done and they did not resolve either. Placed a BBB complaint, waiting for response. My bank representative was on conference with me and the Target 2nd Level Escalation member for an hour while she basically told me it was okay that I had no money left in my account due to the double charge, since it was pending, even though it takes away from your available balance. I asked her if she was going to let me borrow her debit card since they overdrew mine and of course - silence. I just wanted her to understand that this is not okay, but no such luck."

"Ordered a product but received the wrong item, so I pay for shipping myself to send it back to them only to find out that NOW the item I originally ordered is unavailable. Well...I don't have much else to say."
