posted Mar-08-2007 “This was an unfortunate mistake, and one we should have caught. The package was indeed picked up on 1/25, but was picked up by a FedEx EXPRESS truck. Unfortunately, the package was not then handed off to the GROUND system until the following day. FedEx doesn't list tracking information until the package enters the appropriate branch. Thus, even though the package was indeed shipped and picked up on the 25th, it did not enter the ground shipping system until the 26th.
We have since differentiated between ground and express shipments to prevent this from happening again.”
