"I purchesed two items on 9-18 and everything looked like it was going well. Their online status went from shipping to complete and I received a tracking number around 9-21. It is now 9-29 and the tracking number doesn't track at UPS yet. I called UPS and they said that the package had not been picked up and ask me if I would like them to contact the shipper to see if there is a problem with picking the package up. I said YES. Still nothing. I sent them an email and am waiting on a response. I feel as though this company is not going to ship my items. I hope you have a chance to read these ratings before you buy. I was not aware of this site until my order was complete and then they ask me to rate them. If the vendor gives me a good reason that my 2 day shipping package was not given to ups for over a week I will let you all know. P.S. Their big push on the web page is to get on the chat channel for support and it has not been up since I placed my order. I finally was able to leave a phone message with no call back."
"I ordered a x2 programmer last August, I chose System-mods strickly for their reputation and word of mouth. I placed my order before I read their recent reviews, BIG MISTAKE!! It's been 3 weeks since i placed my order and all they have to show for it is a handful of empty and broken promises. I emailed them, called them, and tried to reach them via live help (irc), however still NO WORD! The first week i've given them the benifit of the doubt, especially after reading the news, the second week I was a concerned, but now in the 3rd week i'm just mad. My xbox has been lying in pieces on my desk for little under a month now, I had to put a sheet over it to prevent dust from settling into it, this is ridiculus!
Moral of the story: always check the ratings of a store before buying, no matter how reliable you think they are!"
"It is now September 6 and I have yet to hear anything from SystemMods about my order. The amount was charged to my credit card. Calling them is useless because they keep saying that the voicemail is full. I've tried cancelling the order three times by emailadn have yet to have the money returned to my credit card. This site sucks!!!!!!"
"Well eve though Nolga said that he shipped my X2 programmer I haven't seen it, he just posted that so people would think that he runs a legitamte business, but think again. My order was placed 8-16 with next day shipping. Long day A month and two weeks with no programmer and out 22 bucks. Some of these other guys are out more. I guess i'm one of the lucky ones."

"I, like many others on this site, have ordered from this site before with no problems at all. Not sure what is going on. I have been waiting for my item for over 15 days now. Note that I chose the ups 3 day option. I have sent numerous emails, tried to call via phone, but no response at all. I have not been able to use their online chat for support either. I will not be purchasing any more products from this site."
"Received item fairly quickly, but was defective. Have been unable to reach anyone to RMA. Tried phone, email and their online chat (which has been "down until further notice" and hasn't come back up). I've ordered from here in the past and have never had any problems until now. Not recommended."

"Placed my order on 8/14/05 for an x-ecuter modchip. Chose 3 day select via ups. This isn't the 1st time I've ordered from them. All was well until now.Its been a week and I haven't received my order or a reply. I checked the site and a ups tracking number was available but guess what? UPS has no record of package being received. I emailed this company 2x with no reply. Their online chatroom is closed so no help there. Their phone # is not being picked up. Guess I'll contact my credit card company and file a complaint. I'll wait 1 more week!! There's no way for me to get in touch w these people!! I was recommending these guys to all my friends. NOT ANYMORE!!
Update: Just received my order on 8/25/05 Everything seems to be there. So I did receive my complete order. The thing that really bothers me from these people is, no reply to my emails or answers to my calls and the shipping was slow. I waited almost 2 weeks to receive my order when I actually paid for 3 day shipping. This will be my last order from system-mods."

"I ordered an "In stock" modchip from this site, afterwhich it took 2 days to update the order status which said that the part was on backorder. I have sent 5 emails requesting that the order be cancelled with no response whatsoever and I have yet to see my part or my money back. There are much better and cheaper modchip stores out there, don't use these guys."
