"I've been using Sterlingtek batteries for two years now, in heavy, professional use (Canon 10d/20d/5d + rebels), and can vouch for them with confidence -- their Canon lithiums are every bit as good as the name brand ones, and their customer service has lived up to reputation -- they goofed on my last order, and they responded politely and swiftly when I called, and made things right. Keeps me loyal!"

"This is my second great experience ordering from SterlingTEK.
The batteries have very high quality fit and finish, equal to the Canon orginal, and their capacity is higher. I've only had them for a few weeks but charge-holding appears excellent. In addition, when charging they do not get very warm, maybe better than the Canon original. This is critical for long battery life. The batteries from my previous order are doing well after a year so I expect these will also hold up over time. Shipping was very prompt and protective packaging suitable. I will order from these folks again and recommend them highly. "

"Super great fast shipping. Ordered afternoon on a friday, on a major holiday weekend, got my order on monday! I even got free shipping because I pushed the order up over $60. Its like they gave me a free battery! This site was highly recomended by people at photography-on-the.net and they were right. I would definitly order from them again.

Update: 27April06 I got an email from resellerratings asking me if I needed to change my review of Sterling Tek, they were concerned that I had written my review so quickly after ordering. Well I wrote the review so quickly because, they shipped the product so quickly!!! And they did it for free!!! Well in hind sight I do now need to update my review, because I had several questions about the products that I ordered(never having used them before), and I have to tell you that the girl that answered my phone calls was extremely nice, even when I called 3 or 4 times in one night. I got all my questions out and she was very nice and helpfull. Not "polite-for-the-customer", but genuinely nice. I need to bump up their ratings by 2 points across the board... but I already gave them the max!!! Check out photography-on-the.net, they all have nothing but glowing reports about these guys."

"I ordered 3 batteries almost 1 year ago now that have been in constant use and have been drained/recharged hundreds of times collectively without issue. They still last longer than my official Canon batteries of the same age.

The shipping was perfect, fast, and customer support was friendly. The price was great at the time and now that the batteries have succeded my expectations one year later I have to think I got the deal of the century. Thanx again SterlingTek!"

"VERY SATISFIED. These guys are GREAT.
I ordered a battery for my son's Sony Handycam I was giving him for Christmas. The order arrived on time but the battery would not work in the HandyCam even after a full charge.

I called and was told the battery was defective, so I ordered another one and put it on my credit card, deciding to deal with the return after the holidays--well, the second battery arrived and it too would not work in the HandyCam--so now I'm getting upset as Christmas is coming up quick. I call again and get "Roger", the bookkeeper - I explain my frustration and he says he'll make good on my problems...Roger took the bull by the horns and arranged for a real Sony battery to be overnited to me from one of their distributors. He also credited my card back so the Sony battery cost me nothing. He also followed up and called me while he was traveling for Christmas!!
I had read good reviews about this company when I was shopping for batteries for my Canon 20D.
It turned out that the SterlingTEK batteries were not defective but rather Sony had changed the specs so only REAL Sony batteries could be used in the DCR-HC21.
So my problem alerted them to a change they needed to make in the battery and I was treated so well I will reccommend this company every chance I get!!

"VERY pleased. On December 9th, ordered two camera batteries from this company off ebay (where their sales price was slightly cheaper than their web site). Order processed the same day and received the batteries on December 12th. Now I call that FAST. Batteries were as described and work fine in my camera. Will do business with this company again."

"Very dissatisfied. Sent wrong merchandise. Refused to issue pick up or to credit shipping. Customerservice hung up phone. Had to dispute purchase with credit card company. Never again would I order from them. Will post my experience on all photo websites."

"This transaction was superb. I ordered 2 batteries around 4PM on 11/29/05 with 2 day fedex shipping. I received items the next day 11/30/05. Everything was well packaged & batteries work great. Sterlingtek's pricing was the best I could find on the Web for high power 1100mAh replacement batteries."

"We happily purchased a battery for our new digital camera on the SterlingTek site. The price was good, and it came in a timely manner.

This is where our shopping experience, however takes a turn for the worst. Their boast of excellent service is a misnomer.

SterlingTek inadverdently shipped two items to us, the battery ordered, and another order that should have gone to a gentleman in Puerto Rico. His invoice and item were shipped to us. Being 'good people' I contacted the people at SterlingTek to inform them of THEIR mix up, I'd hate for the gentleman in Puerto Rico not to get his merchandise. I was informed that I would have to send the item back to them, and then they would credit my account for the shipping. I am 3 days home from major surgery, and a trip to the store for an envelope and the post office to purchase postage is totally out of the question [no driving for 3 weeks]. I explain that, and ask them to please send me a return postage mailer, as I did not order this item, don't want it...but cannot get out to do their job. I have never dealt with a company that could or would not do this if it was their error. I was told this is 'AGAINST OUR POLICY' and that I must send it back to them on my own time, my own dime, and then they would credit my account.

Synopsis: We got our item in good time, and at a good price. THEY, in error sent me someone else's order as well, but since my time is worth virtually nothing, and theirs is, I must go to the store purchase an envelope, and then to the post office for postage to return something THEY sent in error. Does this sound like good customoer service OR good policy? Family owned, by the way...means nothing.

Never again will we purchase from this company, and will make sure that our friends in camera clubs we belong to, will not either. If they treat customers in this manner, after THEIR error...then imagine what they would do if the customer was in error!"
