DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!Update: don't give up hope all who have bought THEN checked these sites in horror: I complained to every agency I could get an e-mail address for and I finally got a refund, although I think it was the threat of the credit card company chargeback that actually did the trick. "I ordered a smartphone for my daughter and waited almost 3 weeks for it, but didn't received it. Then I asked for refund, and even 10 days later there was no moneyback. During communication with managers, I was fed with promises without any concrete terms and dates. Finally, I initiated a dispute in PayPal and hopefully money was refunded the next day.Never buy anything there even if it's cheap. A miser pays twice, you know. Such behavior is unacceptable nowadays, and such online stores must die ASAP."
"I made a mistake and attempted to order from this company by judging their google 4 star review and not coming here first. BIG MISTAKE. I am deathly afraid that I gave these people my credit card number and now I'm calling my bank to stop all payments. Simply Electronics customer service woman spoke suspicious English that I could barely understand and spoke of business/payment practices that I've never heard of. Their online ordering system wanted my social security number and to sign up for some bullshit, then the order said it was not authorized, then it said it was. Advice. Don't make the same mistake I did. FML."
"Ordered a Samsung Galaxy S2.An order that should have taken 4-8 business days actually took 18 business days to dispatch. After a couple of weeks, I had to harass them. After it turned out it would take 1 3/4 hours after calling them to actually talk to anyone, I inquired about my order by email.After 4 days of worthless cordiality, I threatened to cancel and coincidentally the order was actually dispatched. I now must hope that the item in the mail isn't a cheese grater or something."
"Hello! I wish I had read all this review before I make the order!!!!Please dont buy from them.I made an order at 4th of August with number 549007-844250. The order payed instantly and was expected to be shipped within 2-4 working days and delivered within 3-8 working days. Nothing off all this happened until today. There was a ticket that my address was wrong, but my address was correct. They asked bills in english to proove that my address is correct!!! They reply to ticket each 48 hours!!!! So they said that they address was correct after 15 days. But my order is on status "Your order is being made ready" for 8 days now!!! For a camera which was on stock and still is on stock the last 19 days, from the day I 've paid... I am worring that I will not get the camera or a refund. I asked for a refund but no replies!!!Be aware from SimplyElectronics"
"Worst seller ever, missing orders, support non responsive... I tried to make two purchases of a mobile phone this month with SimplyElectronics: order 540375-829499 that SimplyElectronics cancelled for unknown reason and I had to wait quite some time for a refund, and currently another order 546210-839620 for which I cannot even get information since they are not answering support tickets. Order confirmation came immediatelly but order history shows as if there is no order whatsoever. Good luck calling support hotline as well, always busy and minimum of an hour holding the line, I had no nerves for that.This company acts as if they are not in business of selling stuff, so lousy and unprofessional. I decided to warn people of their way of doing business and also rated them poorly on e-bay.There are much better sellers on e-bay and elsewhere, spare yourself some nerves dealing with these people, really. "I wish to file a complaint against the company Simply Electronics with whom I have dealt with over the past seven weeks. After having purchased an item from their website which I had not received eleven days after buying, I cancelled my order due to the shady behavior of the company with regards to my order. Forty days later, I am still waiting for my refund which the company says on their website, will be provided immediately. “If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, SimplyElectronics.net will immediately issue a credit to your credit card in the amount of the charge.” Extract from the Terms and conditions of Simply ElectronicsSince the cancellation of my order I have had to put up with numerous excuses from the company as to why I have not received my refund. The past seven weeks that I have spent dealing with this company, have left me with little doubt that this is a company who walks the line between legal and illegal business practices –tricking customers into buying their products through the advertisement of false promises that become evident as soon as the payment transaction has gone through. Simply Electronics is a company who plays with customers’ patience and time, in the hopes, I believe, that the dissatisfied customers will eventually give up on their demand for a refund. I will provide you as attachted, with a chronological outline of my dealings with Simply Electronics. June 9th, 2012. I ordered 1 x Nikon D7000 DSLR Camera Body (Order Number 528206-806645) on the website SimplyElectronics.net without receiving any formal receipt (I have only received an e-mail confirmation and an automatic message after paying the order online, please see the attachment). June 21st, 2012 I decided to cancel my order and demanded a full refund. The reasons that I decided to cancel my order include: • The fact that I did not receive my order during the time frame promised (The item being in stock on the website, the trader guaranteed the item to be shipped within 1-2 working days and delivered within 2-7 working days )• The shady behavior of the customer service representatives: ? The inability or unwillingness of the representatives to give me any clear and concrete information concerning my order. ? Their refusal to provide me with a written date at which time my order would be shipped. They only gave me a date for the shipment by phone which was inexact.Details concerning the cancellation of my order: • The Customer Service representative accepted the request by phone and asks me to confirm it by e-mail. But, while I was writing my e-mail cancellation a few minutes after my phone call, the online status of my order changed from “new” (I had the misfortune of seeing this for 10 days after my payment) to “packing”. ? I have a hard time believing that it was just a coincidence that this changing operation happened just right after my call requesting the cancellation of my order, while one of their online Customer Services Agent kept saying to me that the item that I purchased was not present in their stock.• I nevertheless sent a cancellation email that same day demanding a cancellation of my order. To my surprise, the status of my order the following day was listed as “shipping”, please see the attachment).. At the same time I received a reply to my cancellation request, from the customer representative stating that I had not given the company enough time to cancel my order and that the product was now being handled by the shipping department and they were therefore no longer able to ‘help’ me. • I therefore asked for the tracking number of my order which Simply Electronics refused to give to me. I had to contact DHL (delivery company) myself in order to obtain information concerning my product. In speaking with a DHL employee I discovered that the time delays that Simply Electronics had given me were in fact false. (I had been told by Simply Electronics that I would receive my refund as soon as the package was returned to them. I found out from UPS that Simply Electronics received that package on June 30th; however several days after this date, I still had no news from them. I thus informed them that I was aware of the fact that they had received the package and I once again demanded my refund). • Despite my unrelenting pressure to receive my refund, Simply Electronics has put off providing me with my refund both through taking a lot more time to reply to my emails than was previously the case, and by giving me weak excuses as to why the refund has not taken place. ? The most recent excuse has been that there is a problem with their credit card processor. After seven weeks of waiting and countless emails exchanged, I still have not received a refund. I have tried to negotiate with the company itself however as you will see for yourself in reading the emails that I have attached, this tactic is useless when dealing with a company that seems determined to evade any sort of responsibility that they may have towards their customers. My sole request is to be reimbursed the 819,95 euros that I paid for an item that I cancelled over a month ago. "
"Crooks. Look all the reviews 1 star. I order 10 days ago and as of today nothing. They say 3 to 5 days processing time. Send 3 emails so far no reply. However, they did charge my card already. I guess I will cancel. I guess they have some scheme like they take your order keep your money for a month and you cancel. They don't really sell anything they just use your money for a month that's all. They make money on keeping your money and then you cancel. Thats their business. Next time I just buy from amazon or local. This online small stores became all crooks, it sad really."
"I ordered a lens from Simply Electronics with the standard 5-8 day shipping. It took about 5 days for my order to even show up as existing online. More than a week later, no change in my order status from "new." I called and they said there was a "backup at the dispatch center" and my lens would ship by the end of the week (4 days away). Next Monday, I check, no change. I call and the 24 hour customer service is down. I call Tuesday, they inform me my lens may ship from Hong Kong by next week. I canceled the order and am waiting for a refund. "
"I have patiently waited a couple weeks now for a refund on a returned item. The email from them this morning said the refund was "in process". What does that mean? I have read some positive reviews of this website, and I guess if you order something and you don't have a problem then they do a good job. But the measure of "customer service" is what do they do when there is a problem. I am still waiting for my $600 refund. Not fair!"

"I ordered a Kindle Touch as they were offering a £10 discount. Dispatch was promised in 2-4 working days. I ordered on a Sunday so expected it to be dispatched at the latest by the Friday. On the following Tuesday still had not been dispatched (I was told they would email me when the dispatched it). Have now cancelled the order. I only hope that I can retrieve my £95-95p easily!!"
