"Read about their shipping insurance before you purchase anything from this company, or you will be mislead as we were!!!! On Monday December 29th, 2008 I went onto Shop Digital Online to purchase a 58" Panasonic Plasma TV for $2,365.00, with shipping the price came out to be $2,594.00. We felt that the price was the cheapest online that we could find. On Tuesday December 30, 2008 I read my email and was asked to contact this company. When I spoke with their customer service representative, he wanted to sell me the warranty for $500.00 which I denied, he then stated that he would cut the cost for (3) years down to $300.00. When I advised him that I just wanted him to ship the TV set to me, he told me that my price was $2,793.00. This was a difference of $199.00. When I advised this representative of the price that I had consented to, and that I had a copy of the order in front of me, he advised me that there is a charge of 6 1/2% charge added to the bill automatically for shipping Insurance. I asked him where did it show that on my paperwork and he stated "it is everywhere". It wasn't anywhere on the paperwork that I had printed out!! When I asked to speak to a manager this representative told me that he didn't know his name and then hung up on me. I called back and cancelled this order. Please don't be fooled by this company's lower prices!! This added charge will not show up until you contact them as I did."
I have tried to order two items from their website.
In each case, the website said the item was in stock. However, in each case, several days after ordering, I received in an e-mail stating that the item was back ordered. In each case, while the item was "back ordered," the website was still telling prospective purchasers that the item was in stock, and would ship within 1-2 days."
"Everything went smoothly, and my package arrived before I'd expected. (It arrived in 3-days from placing the initial order even while using their FREE shipping option). "
"AVOID ADOID AVOID these guys!!! Same story as others. I was purchasing a 52" LCD. Good price, but you will never see your product. Don't waste your time. Received an e-mail to call them to validate the order. ??? They have an approved credit card, what the heck!! You don't see Amazon doing this! Really just wanted to push the extended warrenty before shipping. Then two days later when checking order status, it had been put on backorder. I called for explanation since it was apparently in stock two days earlier when we spoke. Explanation was that the warehouse had water damage and it would be 2-3 weeks before they got in a new shipment. After being put on hold for 5-10 minutes as he supposedly called the warehouse to check inventory, he came back and attempted to upsell a lesser product for more money.... a Proscan LCD for $350 more than the Samsung 850. Proscan is low end stuff!! What an attempted scam!! I cancelled order and re-ordered from Amazon for $100 more (still a very reasonable price) and free white glove shipping. Don't get greedy on low prices, buy from a Company with a solid reputation. Don't believe any of the exceptional ratings for these guys, they are fake."

"I ordered a Sony KDL52W4100 Sony KDL52W4100 52" BRAVIA from their webpag and called their customer service rep. in the same time to comfirm the order, their rep.confirmed they have this TV in stock and will ship right way.. but we called them today again because we never received any shipping information,we's been told a different story from their sucks cutomer service rep. she told us they don't have any instock will go next 2-3 weeks, ok, we stop and cancel the order, I believed that they played game to all the customer we won't shop anything in Digital Online anymore, I can tell how "Success" this company will be in the future..If I would you we wouldn't shop any in this company, just thinking how bad their customer service...."
"BUYER BEWWARE - The price listed on their site and in the e-mail confirmation they will send is not the price you will pay. They will call you (in my case two days) later to advise you of an insurance charge that added 5% to the total. 5% on a $2,0000 purchase (an HDTV) is signigicant. Shipping not only wasn't free, they wanted to charge an extra $50 for a tracking number (even though they're receiving 5% for insurance). Since the item is a gift and time is important, I reluctantly proceeded with the order. I e-mailed their Customer Service department voicing my concerns regarding the inability to track the shipment and they replied with a website reference stating my shipment "is in transit" and it never updated to provide more detailed data. Received a call last night at 7:15 to inform me that my delivery window would be between 4 AM and 7 AM today. Took the morning off from work, it's now 11:06 AM and still no TV."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - this is a true bate and switch company - from reading the other reviews had the exact same experience - they tried to get me to buy insurance, then upsell me then fortunately never had the product in stock - I found it for $100 cheaper at PC Richards without the high shipping costs and without receiving what sounds like would have been a used tv - although they promised a new one. I will be sending their info on to the state attorney general of NY - he loves these cases."
"I placed an order for a Sony HDTV they had the best price by a few dollars. 24 hours later I hear from them saying I need to call in to confirm my order. So I called in, after being put on hold by rude customer service for 10 minutes I get on the phone with a guy who keeps trying to sell me insurance policy. I told him "no" the first time and he asked me again with a "NEW LOW PRICE." I tell him no again and he puts me on hold for another 10 minutes. Then he comes back and says he has confirmed my order and proceeds to ask me two more times if I wanted a 3-5 year warranty and each time he lowered the price. Finally after it took 20 minutes to confirm my order he tells me I am good to go and my TV will ship in 24-48 hrs. Less than 24 hours later, I get an email saying the TV I ordered is on back-order for 2-3 weeks. This site is obviously a scam. DO NOT TRUST THEM!"
"The sales rep was very polite but it's same scam that's been going around. Switch and bait. Tried to get you to buy their over priced warranty and when you don't then they send you a confirmation e-mail stating that it's on back order. You go check on their website and it says that it's in stock. What a load of crap."
