"Buyer Beware - Shoebuy.com is a very sloppy site. I ordered two items for Xmas delivery and it was indicated that I would receive the shipment before XMAS. With respect to one of those items, I received a shipping notice and tracking id and received my order timely. On the other item - NOTHING, not even a shipping notice. And, of course the other item was a gift for my Mother. I sent an email inquiry which went unanswered. I then called customer service, who hung up on me. I called a second time and the customer service representative, who was entirely too harried for the job, complained only that she was glad the day was almost done - gosh - who cares about the customer! She did provide me with a tracking number, but her disdain for her job and for me was only too apparent. The Holidays are stressful enough - I will NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN."

"I purchased 6 pairs of 5.11 Tactical socks from Shoebuy.com for more than $68.00. When the package arrived, there were only 3 pairs of socks. There was no explanation, no notice, no indication that anyone was aware of the error. I called the Shoebuy.com customer service and sat on hold for about 15 minutes. I explained the issue and asked when the other half of my items would be sent (it's a Christmas gift). The customer service representative said he couldn't answer my questions, that I would either get a refund or my merchandise but I would have to wait a "business day or so" to find out. He said they may have only sent 3 pairs because they ran out. I asked why I wasn't informed before hand or why there wasn't an explanation in the package and he said it wasn't their fault and that the merchandise came directly from the manufacturer. I responded that Shoebuy.com sold me the item so they were responsible for an errors that occurred. So I emailed to express my disappointment and ask for an answer as soon as possible and no word for 2 full business days. I called back and was told that I had to wait 8 days for an answer! I was also told that I had also spoken to a supervisor the last time I called which was untrue. I spoke to 1 person, the customer service representative. So now, I am supposed to wait 8 business days before Shoebuy.com will tell me whether they will refund my money or send me my items. It seems to me like they are blowing me off and they have no intention in doing either. Meanwhile, I'm inconvenienced and Shoebuy.com has not tried to correct their error at all. Other companies are much more concerned with customer satisfaction and their customer service representatives are much more responsive. I will never shop at this site again or any of it's affiliates. It's clear to me that they don't value me as a customer and don't strive to provide the best service possible."

"Ordered a Xmas gift and they shipped the wrong item. Their mistake, not mine! After calling and waiting on hold for what seemed like forever, i was promised that they would let me know within 24 hrs if the correct item would arrive in time. I never received a response, even after emailing them. Needless to say, I am not getting the item in time and their customer service team (including the supervisor) offered only a half-hearted apology. That's NOT customer service!!!! DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER!!!!!!!!!!"

"I never had a problem with this company until I bought Berkinstocks. As soon as I wore them the
grommet that holds the strap on to the shoe, broke. I tried three or more calls to request a mailing label. Last time I called, they assured me a label would be sent. Not so. So now I have
tp spend $14. to have another grommet on the shoe, so that I can start to wear them. Won't be
doing business with this outfit again."

"My problem with Shoebuy is that they say they will price match if you find the item cheaper somewhere. But what actually happens is that they find even the smallest loophole so that they don't have to price match. I was looking for Daniel Green slippers. I found the slipper on the Daniel Green website for $29.95, on Shoebuy the same slipper is $68.95. I informed customer service at Shoebuy of the difference. The rep's response was "Oh, that's because they are on sale. We don't have sales at the same time". I said ok, ordered the slippers that Shoebuy had on sale (same shoe, not colors I really wanted)and let the matter drop. I've ordered from Shoebuy many times over the years, but this will be my last order with them. Bigger stores such as Best Buy, Sears, etc. who price match, actually price match without a problem. There are plenty of places to shop without feeling that you've been bamboozled.

**I would encourage everyone to check other stores and sites before ordering from Shoebuy. Generally, their markup is much, much more than you will find on the site of the company that makes the shoe. "

"I was happy with the shoes and the time it originally took to get there. All I needed was a half size smaller. So I go to make the return (which they don't include, I had to call and after being put on hold they sent it to me via email) and they said they would refund my money and then take the $72 back out when they shipped the next pair (no other company does that but ok?). Yes, they took out the $72, however my money was not refunded and they didn't even ship my shoes yet. When I called, they told me it takes longer to process the refund so now my account is in the negative and I have to deal with bank fees. Would not order from them again, too much of a hassle."

"My experience with Shoebuy was first-rate. I received a total of 20% off my order plus I got cash back through Upromise. Shoebuy shipped 2 days after I placed my order and a tracking number was emailed to me. Everything was as expected with the product. No issues whatsoever. I would recommend. "

"I was very, very pleased with the service I received from Shoebuy.com. I ordered a pair of Minnetonka pile lined slippers on Monday 12/5 around noon and I received my package in a nicely sealed box on 12/7!!! Unheard of! The item was shipped from MN and I live in WI and I got my order in two days! I do a lot of online purchases and the only other place that comes close to fast shipping is Amazon. The price I paid for these slippers were very good, I was able to use two promo discounts. And I received free shipping! The slippers were perfect and just what I ordered. I would definately use them again. I was very surprised to read the negative reviews since I had a very good experience with them."

"I ordered a pair of boots on Black Friday.

They sent me the correct style and size, but wrong color. They do not include any type of shipping/packing receipt in the box, so you have to call them so they can email you a file that contains a UPS return shipping label that you must print out.

An hour after I'd received the boots--I I live in NYC, their warehouse is in Boston, MA--I schlepped to my nearest UPS location to drop off the box. It took, according to the tracking, less than 24 hours to reach them. Great, right? No. They are so incompetent, they did not process the return until a week later. I had hoped, per my conversations w/ their Customer Service, that they would turn right back around and resend me the correct boot--not too much too ask, right? Well, by the time they got around to processing my return/exchange, the boot was out of stock.

Sigh.

I wait. And wait. 3 days pass--the boot is back in stock! Hallelujah! I call them and ask them to send me the boot. (They still have my money and have not refunded my credit card). Oh, psych! The boot isn't in stock, even though the website says it is, in style, color and size. They tell me they'll hang on to my boots until the boots are back in stock. And Lordy, whaddaya know, 2 days later their website says they are still in stock. Hallelujah....er, right? Well, why yes, they say. But we have refunded your credit card. So they say I need to rebuy the boots. WHAT? I never asked them to refund my card, I was patiently awaiting for the boots to be back "in stock".

These people are horrible. They have no "bedside manner", and apparently don't take good notes on the person's account. I will never use them again. I sent two emails--still holding my breath for their reply, and over the course of a week and a had called them about 4 times. They are rude, one lady hung up on me, they make false promises, and are not customer oriented AT ALL. This company sucks."

"ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVCE AND POLICIES I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. ORDER WORK BOOTS, UPS CLAIMS DELIVERED ON 11/18 TO MY FRONT PORCH. I WAS HOME AND NO UPS DELIVERY WAS MADE. SHOEBUY OPENED A CLAIM WITH UPS AND WILL NOT REPLACE BOOTS UNTIL UPS COMPLETES INVESTIGATION. UPS HASN'T CONTACTED ME, NOR HAS THE DRIVER WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO COME TO MY HOUSE TO INVESTIGATE. TODAY IS 12/3 AND STILL NOTHING FROM UPS OR SHOEB UY. THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE ORDEAL, I'VE BEEN ASKING UPS TO EXPEDITE OR SHOEBUY TO AT LEAST REPLACE BOOTS AS MY SON NEEDS THEM. NEITHER BUSINESSES SEEM TO CARE AND JUST KEEP TELLING ME IT'S BEING INVESTIGATED. I DIDN'T SIGN FOR THE BOOTS, SO I THINK SHOEBUY SHOULD REPLACE BOOTS AND FIGHT IT OUT WITH UPS. I CAN'T STOP PAYMENT FOR 30 DAYS FROM DATE GOODS EXPECTED TO DELIVERY, SO I CAN BUY ELSEWHERE AND BE OUT ANOTHER $160 OR WAIT IT OUT. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES BY BOTH SHOEBUY AND UPS. DON'T BUY FROM SHOEBUY!"
