"I am a repeat buyer from Shoebuy. I love the selection and prices and the frequent coupons make the prices unbeatable. They have brands that you can't find other places."

"Shoebuy.com cannot be trusted. They advertise free shipping However, if the order contains more than one pair of shoes and you return them at different dates within the time limit, you have to pay the shipping cost. When I spoke to the CSA about the change in policy, she told me that Shoebuy would reimburse the cost of the shipping. I asked to speak to supervisor about the change in the shipping policy. The supervisor was not able to tell me when the policy became effective, and denied any type of reimbursement."

"Bought a pair of Merrill sandals that were about 15% cheaper (plus no tax) than many B&M stores. Also found a coupon for free shipping. Order arrived in 5 days. Sandals were new and came exactly as advertised. I was very pleased with my transaction."

"Low efficiency; unreliable;

Got cancellation notice 4 days after placing the order

It took them FOUR days to figure what is in stock and what is sold out! They showed the shoes were avaiable by then and now say they were sold out. To me, it is not much different than cheating as my information and data have been collected by them so easily!

Though they offered 20% discount, I won't spend a penny there!

"I purchased several pairs of shoes from Shoebuy.com, two of which did not fit me at all. I immediately requested return forms. Shortly after these forms arrived, I very seriously injured my left knee, leaving me unable to get around for several months. In April, I returned the shoes to Shoebuy.com, along with a note explaining that I had been injured and was unable to return the shoes before that time. They sent the shoes back to me, saying that under no circumstances will anything be accepted for a return after 60 days. They stated that this is a "generous" return policy. (Interesting, since most of their competitors' sites have a 365-day return policy.) When I telephoned the company, I was told that under no circumstances would the shoes be returnable. I was told to email Customer Service, which I did; I received no response to this email. Finally, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau; Shoebuy.com did respond to this (as required by the BBB), once again denying my request for credit. I am 62 years old, and this knee injury was very incapacitating.
I simply could not return these shoes in the alloted time. I did ask for the name of an executive to whom I could write; I was told that names were never available. This is NOT a good company."

"I ordered the Propet Meadow Walker 7 W from Shoebuy.com. The package arrived at my mail office I put them on took about 3 steps and realized that they were too wide for me and packed them back up and shipped them back to Shoebuy.com. Next I am told that they have been worn are creased and dirty on the bottom and are returned to me. If I indeed had walked around in them I could have understood but I didn't. I spoke to the manager, Laury, and she tells me they were creased and dirty on the bottom and her word is final. BE CAREFUL only try on their shoes with your feet held in the air because most likely you cannot return them to Shoebuy. I would suggest you try another company."

"I was looking for a garment bag and found the best price for the Skyway bag I wanted at ShoeBuy.com. Their free shipping, price guarantee and paid return were all attractive options.

They called to confirm my order address and shipping address (different addresses) and then as promised shipped my purchase. It did take 4 days between the time I placed my order and when they shipped it, however, the shipping was very fast for ground service.

6 days after I ordered they announced a 20% off sale. I called their Customer Service and they credited mmy card with 20% of the original price. This was after I got a 10% "first buy" discount.

So, ShoeBuy did live up to their promises. They had the best price and ultimately lowered that by 30%. I put their customer service to the test and it came through as promised. The only thing I didn't test was their return guarantee.

Mine was only one purchase but it proved very successful."

"I ordered a Samsonite case for a trip the case lasted to length of the flight and the combination latch would not open upon my arrival. I was forced to pop the lock for the length of the trip, yes I did damaged to case. Upon my return I sent an email and called Shoebuy.com explaining the situation they agreed to return the case, three weeks go by I get the case back--not repaired, not a replacement but the same case. Stating the case works fine. I sent shoebuy.com yet another email, no response, two phones call later (1st on on 3/29/06 and the second this morning 3/30/06---a supervisor was to call. 4 hours goes by I did receive a phone call but was told they would do nothing to solve this issue because they stated the case was able to be opened---how--the supervisor stated they could not. Now what I have is a 26" piece of plastic that sits there. Price is not everything when buying a product from a retailer (mail order or brick and mortor) customer service is the main thing, I learned my lesson that this is one store I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO THE SAME.
I have contacted Samsonite Directly (sameday), explained the situation with the case and they will send out a replacement lock. Now if I did it why couldn't this company do it? The basic answer is all they want is the first sale."

"Ordered over a week ago even though it says, "ships in 1 to 5 days." I called to cancel because I was tired of waiting and they said I can't cancel because the shoes are shipping next week. Next week? Why exactly can't the order be cancelled if they still have not sent it out? That makes no logical sense! I am sending the shoes back once they arrive and I'll never order from them again."

"Bad Service, Really bad Customer service.
I had ordered a pair of shoes from this website. They shipped me a wrong order, but were very unapologetic. Even while sending me a retrun shipping laberl, they sent it for the order that was not shipped. Nowhere in their file have they mentioned or accepted that they made a mistake or that they would do something to rectify it. The customer service agent told me, this had never happened before but yet was unwilling to help out.
Finally I just decided that I didnt want to buy anything ever for this website.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WEBSITE TO ANYONE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

"I've ordered a lot of shoes from here and have not had any problems. They seem to have the best price usually if they carry the product you want. You can get discount codes and they have a member discount of 10% that lowers the cost even more. I've never had a problem sending anything back and receive things in a timely manner. "

"I asked for an exchange of a pair of shoes because of wrong size. I was credited the orginal charge, and then charged for a higher amount for the replacement shoes. I called in three times to resolve this issue. At first I was told that it was a mistake and I'd get a credit back into my credit card account. A week later I called again and was told to wait longer for the credit to appear in my credit card account. After another weeks of not seeing the credit, I checked back and was told no credit was applied after all! The lady promised me that a supervisor will review this issue and get back to me via email, nothing followed through."

"I purchased a pair of addidas sweat pants for my husband for Christmas. I ordered these on 12/13 from Shoebuy.com. Although they shipped out on 12/15, they will not arrive until 12/27, too late for Christmas. I was really furious, called Customer Service, and spoke to both a regular representative, as well as a supervisor. Both displayed a massive attitude, and just said that's how it goes, they make no special effort to get anything on time for Christmas, and that I really should have called on the phone if I wanted to make sure it came by Christmas (of course, they don't mention on the Web site that you need to get on the phone with them if you want to make sure it will be there by Christmas, this is some trick you're supposed to know). I ended up speaking to the director of Customer Service, who had the identical mealy mouth things to say and identical bad attitude--they make no apologies, buyer beware. Bottom line--no present by Christmas, absolutely no apology, and a reluctant offer of $2.80 refund if I wanted it. I had the feeling they get lots of angry calls like this every day, they were very nonplussed by me, and that's just the way they do business. Who cares about a bunch of angry customers if the orders keep rolling in?

I warn anyone who wants a present delivered by a certain date to order from anywhere but Shoebuy. I thought thirteen days before Christmas was a reasonable amount of time for an order--I was wrong if you're ordering from Shoebuy. I bought about 10 other items from other online stores on that same day, and they all got here last week.

Be smart, buy from Zappos, who has the best customer service in the business, and mostly upgrades my orders to overnight delivery. I will never buy from Shoebuy again (Zappos didn't carry the pants I was looking for or I'd never have bought from them in the first place), and I recommend that those who actually want to receive the products they ordered in a reasonable amount of time stay far far away from Shoebuy, unless you just want to let yourself in for a whole lot of frustration!"

"This was my first purchase from Shoebuy.com. The price was good and took only 5 days to receive the shoes which were packaged well and arrived in good condition. They have a good selection of name brands and a good assortment of sizes.

I am satisfied overall and will order from them again."
