"I ordered a brushless motor and ESC through Raidentech at 3PM on a Thursday afternoon for a Friday delivery...I called prior to see if they'd rush it through...and while I was on the phone I placed the order via their online store.
The very cool salesperson (Norman) walked the order through while I was on the phone. I had a FedEx confirmation an hour later, and the order in my hands the next day.
This wasn't my first purchase from Raidentech, and after reading some of the other reviewer's experiences I was hesitant. My first order was filled the same day, and I received it 2 days later by UPS Ground, well-packed and complete.
Raidentech has definitely proven themselves to me. I hope they keep up the good work, and I'll certainly be using them in the future."
"Well, I got the wrong item, called and got through the first time I tried, and then I sent it back the same day USPS Priority with Confirmation Delivery. I tried calling and emailing numerous times after the delivery was confirmed to notify them that the return got there and to inquire as to the status of my return (like how long it would take before shipping the correct item back and what shipping method would be used to ship it). 10 business days after delivery confirmation, I got an email saying my return has been processed, and to expect shipment soon. Later that day, I got a FedEx tracking number (they used the same shipment method to return, 2nd day, that was good), and 3 days later, I received the correct item. Because of the overwhelming lack of support during the return process, I initiated an enforcement of the Yahoo Buyer Protection policy...but RaidenTech had emailed me that they just finished processing my return - before I submitted the initial start of the protection process. So RaidenTech came through for me before Yahoo got on their back, not after. I still started the process just in case they sent me the wrong item twice. Remember, www.RaidenTech.com is a Yahoo Merchant, and Yahoo's Buyer Protection Policy states that if you do not receive an item (or the wrong item) that you paid for, they will bully RaidenTech for you to get it to you or give you your money back. Although the process must be finished 60 days since the order. I would recommend waiting between 15-30 days since your order before beginning the process. But remember to wait at least 10 business days since they get your return, or at least the same amount of time if you don't receive the item at all. And you have to call and email yourself too, don't rely on the Protection Plan to do everything for you."
"Minimal web site options. I got the product, low quality but works so far. I called four times (during their business hours) to get questions before the purchase and never got anyone to answer my calls (no voice mail, it just rings forever....until you hang up). I also emailed customer service and never heard from them (over 3 weeks now). I personally would NOT purchase anything expensive or risky from them at all."
"Don't buy from these people. They charged my credit card without shipping anything. I told them to cancel my order after they said my item was not in stock after waiting over a week. They generate shipping info before they even begin to process your order. After I told them to cancel, they notify me that my item shipped. I have had to call my credit card company to have the charge removed and FedEx to refuse shipment of whatever they decided to ship to me. Illegal buisness practices. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. DON"T LET THEIR FANCY WEBSITE AND LOW PRICES TRICK YOU."
"Beware, the cheap prices offered by these people are not cheap at all because they gouge you with shipping. They charged me $20 to ship four 10 gram servos by priority air freight. The order took over two weeks to arrive and came in a paper bag bearing $3.50 of postage. Where did the other $16.50 go? Once this freight gouging is factored in my cheap servos turned out to be very expensive (and crappy anyway). Avoid, avoid, avoid."
"Ordered a plane from these guys via credit card. They gave me a shipping number for which there is no record of the item being shipped. Apparently, the item was shipped later than they said it was. At least they could be honest about shipping details and not leave customers wondering whats going on.

"PLEASE, PLEASE FIND THIS REVIEW BEFORE ORDERING!!! I wish I had. I ordered 2 planes Regular Ground with only their inflated shipping charges, the wrong color plane and the manufacturer boxes as shipping containers to compalin about. (But for being a newbie pilot and knowing I was going to break it, I couldn't beat the price.) I ordered the two-set blue/green plane special of which they sent me a blue and red one. No biggie since this was my first order and just wanted something to fly with my bro.
I loved the planes and placed a second order of the blue/green (see set ordered above) 3-day shipping with plenty of time to surprise my dad with a plane on his birthday.
Well, here we go: I called them and actually got a human before ordering confirming the steps I needed to take to get different frequencies to fly all 4 planes at once with my brother, dad and son. My 3-day shipping did NOT even get processed for 5 days and then it was the day before the weekend so it didn't even get started shipping for another 2 days!!! I did NOT get a confirmation number to track my order.
When I did finally get my order I see they CRAMMED all the replacement parts I ordered for previously crashed planes into the plane boxes I just ordered and taped them together for shipping and the boxes were damaged when they arrived. (Luckily it hadn't penetrated enough to harm the planes) And to top it off they sent a duplicate frequency after I made sure to put the frequencies I already had in the comments as they instructed me to on the order (After weeks of calling I talked to a human again and had them send me a new frequency and they sent me the SAME one. Still working on that one months later). There's more but I'm fuming again so I need to stop...
To their credit, I got a refund on the 3-day shipping. But I am having to pay to ship frequencies back and forth until they get it right.
READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION. If you have one item to order and nothing but time, good luck. Otherwise, pay the extra little bit and get a name brand from a reputable site. I will be from now on."
" Do not send these guys any money! They were on eBay for months and when I ordered, they took my money, acknowledged receipt of the money and never shipped the merchandise. They than disappeared from eBay with no forwarding address! eBay couldn't care less they only came up with the old "too bad, so sad" BS. There is no way to contact these guys, they simply vanished. They still have a website that will take your money, but nobody ever answers phones and e-mail all comes back to you, or they never reply. Shame on these people and shame on eBay!"
"Never, ever buy from Raiden Tech, a subsidiary of Yahoo Shopping. I ordered a PS2/N64>PC converter on about the 4th. They emailed me the 12th, telling me that my item would be shipped USPS the 13th. I still haven't recieved the item, and the tracking number says the item was never shipped.
I just called them after emailing them twice in the last week, and the asian gentleman on the phone, who I couldn't understand for shit, told me it was shipped last week, and that I should have it tommorow or wednesday. Apparently, the item was out of stock.
I asked him if maybe they should have emailed me about some of this, and he said "Oops, sorry". Thanks, asshole.
"On Tuesday, last, I tried to call Raiden Technology at the number found on their website (www.raidentech.com) to place an order (my first with them). I kept getting a voice mailbox and left several callback requests. I finally got someone to answer the phone, placed my order, and was told that the merchandise "will probably ship tomorrow." I was also promised a FedEx tracking number and when I hadn't received that advice by Friday, I attempted to contact them via phone again -- again, no answer except a voice mailbox. That afternoon I received a pre-shipment notice with a FedEx tracking number, which means they printed a shipping label for the merchandise. As of today, FedEx has still not been given the packages!! I have tried to contact Raiden Technology to no avail -- voicemail. I have not received ONE response from leaving detailed messaged. They have my email address -- no response to that either."
