"Stay away! Placed a bunch of orders trying to buy some vitamins on sale--all of my orders were cancelled but Puritans Pride did not refund my money. Those suckers still keep my money (for last two weeks). I am being forced to open credit card disputes in order to get my money back. Additionally all vitamins that I've ordered are still available (but at much higher price on the Puritan';s web site)--what a dishonest seller. Stay away!--you have been warned. Do not believe in any paid shill positive reviews--Puritan's customer service won't help you. Stay away!--you have been warned."
"I have been a regular customer of Puritan's Pride for around 30 years now. I started buying from them when they had a kiosk at the mall. I stopped when they closed that down, but then I came across one of their ads in a magazine and ordered from them and have been buying their products by mail ever since. One of the things I really appreciate about them is that their customer service is located right here in the USA. I am so tired of dealing with various Asians who, while they speak very good English, do not understand it so well and start reading pre-scripted answers from their book as soon as they think they recognize a key word. God help you if your problem is not in their book.In all this time I've never had a question someone there couldn't answer. I Definitely recommend them.No, they did not ask me to write a review."
"Products and price are good but customer service is terrible!If you ever need customer service prepare to take the day to do so. Maybe the next one , too. THey never responded to the 3 emails I had sent so I had to break down and call them. UUggh! Switched from one rep to another with holds in between. Finally got a phone message from a Sherry so I called back and no one seemed to have a clue. Never did talk with Sherry. The new rep had no notes or knowledge of my hours spent the day before on the phone. Pain in my ass!"
"Horrible service from start to finish. I ordered two items, they accepted full payment, then shipped only one without ever telling me that the other one was not in stock. It took an entire week to refund my money, and they only did that after I asked what was going on with my order. And to make things even more infuriating, they can only be contacted through their own website--all other email is returned as undeliverable, and when you finally get them to respond, their answers are totally useless. There are plenty of other sites that offer comparable prices and decent customer service. This place doesn't deserve your business."
"Puritan's Pride had a pretty hot deal for Manuka honey that I found out through a deal site. I placed an order for four jars as it was still in stock. Perhaps, it was too good of a deal. I got an e-mail a day or two later, indicating that they were out of stock and that they had to cancel my order. The e-mail said that they would issue the refund my PayPal account, which is what I used. I was bummed, but this kind of stuff has happened to me before with hot deals.After waiting over two weeks, however, I still wasn't seeing a refund in my PayPal account. So I gave them a call. They found my order and the customer rep said that she was going to have the refund processed. I asked why this wasn't done automatically. She said that PayPal refunds had to be approved by a supervisor. I said that it didn't make sense, specially on an order cancelled by Puritan's Pride. She said that for their company this was a manual process. I said that even if it was a manual process, that they need to be proactive about it, and not wait for customers to call asking for their refund. She said that unfortunately for their company this was not their procedure on PayPal. All I can say is that this company has very dubious practices. "

"One bottle of vitamins only had 6 pills in it instead of 30. The bottle was still sealed like this. It took two weeks to get a reply via email which was unsatisfactory. I will never do business with Puritan's Pride again."
"I ordered £100 pounds worth of goods. Got a letter from customs about paying an extra £30 import charges (UK) ans still my order has not arrived. On the website it is still being processed and I can not seem to find an email or phone number to contact them that works or gets a response. I think honestly I am going to call the police."
"I ordered 12 of these, yet only received 10! Unacceptable is an understatemnt, and I can only assume this is a dishonest company out to scam you anyway they can. Customer service has not replied in over 5 days, despite claiming to have a 1-day turnaround. I advise you stay away from these crooks, and try to bring your business to honest companies that care about their customers."

"If you are in the UK and ordering from Puritan's Pride be very aware that it's a scam! The site address is UK, prices are shown in Pounds and you think you are ordering in the UK but actually you are NOT. The vitamins are shipped from the USA. I got a notification saying the vitamins had arrived, had to call the customs agent who said people are not aware and then get shocked that they have to pay additional customs duty. You can't just return the items and expect your money back. Puritan's Pride expect you to first release the vitamins from customs and return it at YOUR COST and then they will return the amount you paid for them only. I used to be a regular customer while in america and now I can't believe what a third rate unethical company it is. Rather just buy locally."
"My experience with Puritan's Pride was excellent. We had a minor problem because they insisted on shipping my order by UPS, who lost the first shipment, but they sent it out again and I had it in a few days. I talked to customer service twice and both times they were very polite and helpful. Glad I didn't get scared off by the negative reviews!!!"
"After reading the many negative reviews I fully expected a long wait for shipping and nothing but problems. Surprisingly, none of those issues came to pass. The websites order tracking is a bit problematic but my order was placed and received in a flawless and timely manner. I ordered 2 3 pound Isopure Zero Carb Protein containers at the best price I have ever found them 40.99, they were shipped the next day and arrived in 2 days. The packaging was a little hinky, but aside from that I have no complaints whatsoever. "
"I do think they offer mostly good products at reasonable prices- but, as others have stated, their shipping takes fooorrreeevvvverr and customer service is virtually non-exsistant. They claimed via email to have shipped my package four days after my order (still way to long) but in reality they didn't until three days later (a full week, people) and I got my shipment 10 days after ordering. I paid $5 for a small order of two items. It should have shipped priority and been at my house in 3-4 days. When I contacted the company, twice, I got the standard automatic response saying they would get back to me within 48 hours and that was it. No one ever did. If you want to get your order within a reasonable time frame, order from someone else! Oh, and good luck getting help if they mess up your order. "
"Horrible! The have good deals but they are horrible at fulfilling their orders. I paid for expedited shipping and the product was not expedited...it took them 48 hours to even fill the order when the expedited shipping should have had it at my door in a day. I called them to ask where the product was and I was told by an automated system during at least three different calls that it would take 10 minutes each time to speak with a representative. Furthermore they told me they would refund me for the shipping that was never expedited and I've yet to see the credit come back on my account. Two separate representatives spoke with me that day and said they would credit my account. Never happened! I would seriously consider another company before you try this one..."
