"Somehow stumbled upon this little custom computer place a few years back after I switched from pc to mac. I have long been waiting to pick up a smaller build computer that has a little power. Wanted to go the route of the mac-mini but for price and specification nothing beat the Echo 1 in terms of value. I finally compiled a home office set up, purchased a 27 inch HD monitor and decided on the Echo. Throughout the process of ordering the computer from Puget, the level of transparency and attention to detail as far as build and customer service has been absolutely unparalleled. They were there every step along the way and and I was able to feel involved with the process of the build. When the computer came I had a slight issue with it on a restart and the team was immediately responsive and helpfully walked me completely through the issue. The Echo I can be one of the best performing, most compact, and slick computers on the market. I would encourage any prospective customer looking for a computer for any need, to look no further than Puget.

Thanks for the awesome computer.

"Puget's web site is well designed with a ton of info, dare I say it's designed for adults! I checked several PC hardware sites and found to my satisfaction they seemed like a solid choice. After some quick research I had a fair idea of what I wanted and followed up with an online chat. Web site - online chat - ordering - shipping - PC set up -hardware integrity - documentation - all great. Up and running perfectly for over a week!"

"Excellent service and build quality. Their testing documentation and information provided during the build process is very impressive. The PC is solid, well-built, and is devoid of bloatware.

I was looking at using Maingear, but had a bad experience with them and went with these guys. I'm very glad that I did!

"I have previously ordered 2 custom Desktops and because of the excellent service and quality of their products I ordered a new laptop. My revious Toshiba laptop was so slow compared to my super fast desktops that I ordered a laptop with almost the same specs as my desktops. Its a speed demon and performs beautifully.
Before you order have one of their knowledgble techs check out your order to see if your getting what you need. They are very helpfull.Remember you get what you pay for. Don't skimp."

"I purchased two systems from Puget almost a year and a half ago. Having had them this long before submitting a testimonial lends to the authority of my statements going well beyond a first impression.

Both systems had Win7 Pro 64-bit installed on SSD drives, the laptop with 8G ram and the Serenity desktop with 16G. I told them I would be installing additional drives in the Serenity and the build-team stubbed-out the cabling and recommended drive placement to maintain optimal airflow.

I was going to be out of town on the scheduled delivery date and Puget arranged the ship date to my schedule. Every aspect of their service and attention to detail, from start to finish, made working with them a real pleasure.

These systems have been truly spectacular and have met my every expectation – everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t! Performance and reliability continue to be a joy. I highly recommend going with Puget.

"I could not think of a better place to purchase a computer, bar none. You get what they say you'll get, and that is a LOT.

I won't be looking anywhere else for the next one."

"These guys are fantastic. I pieced together a hybrid PC for work and gaming and saved it in my configs. I got an email the next days asking if I need any help (without sounding at all like a used car salesman!). They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I made a few tweaks based on their suggestions and bought it! The box arrived with a HUGE hole in the side of the large box, big enough I could reach in and touch the PC. My heart sunk when I saw it. I had the FedEx guy report it as possibly damaged and took it in. I opened it up, and the box inside also had a hole in it. I thought surely something had been broken! I pulled the PC out, and there were scuff marks on the paper that sticks to the PC case for protection. I peeled off the paper and it was perfect underneath! Puget Systems packed it so well and gave enough of a safety buffer that the PC inside was pristine!

Thanks so much, guys!"

"Just got my second computer from Puget. Every aspect of dealing with Puget has been pretty much flawless once again. There are already a ton of other reviews on here, so I won't go into too much detail, but I will say that everything about Puget just screams quality and attention to detail. The ordering process, customer service, shipping and build quality are all absolutely top notch.

When you email or call in, you'll interact with an intelligent person who is actually capable of having a meaningful conversation and answering your specific questions. If you have ever dealt with some terrible out-sourced customer service rep who just goes through a scripted response with useless generic answers and basically treats you as if you were a moron, causing you to start raging, hang up, try again to google a solution for yourself and/or slam your head through the wall...well, just imagine the exact opposite of that.

Build time and shipping process are pretty quick, and there is a very detailed production checklist that you can track online as your order progresses.

The PC itself is extremely well built. Quality components installed securely and extremely neat and efficient cabling. Basically it's about as tight of a build as you can possibly have with absolutely no waste or mess of any kind. As expected performance is great.

Puget is the by far the best choice out there if you don't have the desire to build your own PC. I'd sum up their corporate philosophy as something like "treat customers with respect and do what you do at the absolute highest level possible." More importantly, they are actually successful at putting that philosophy into practice.

"The entire experience was amazing. From ordering (with help) to status updates to delivery and setup the whole experience went extremely well. The computer powered up with no problem. I cannot hear the computer while it is on. I have put my ear to the case and I can't hear a thing. I would highly recommend Puget Computers to anyone buying a computer. I will never buy a computer any other way. Very professional organization that puts customer satisfaction at the top of their list. I simply can't say enough about them."

"I have had my Puget Obsidian computer now for 33 days. I waited for at least one month before I wrote my review so I could thoroughly test out the performance and quality of my Puget Systems custom built computer and Pugets support services. So far Puget gets 5 stars. I do confess, I am not a computer expert but as a computer consumer I have some experience. That being said, at this point, of the computers that I have had experience with (Dell, HP, Compaq & Hyundai), I would never go back to any of them after purchasing my Puget computer and giving it my best testing for my planned usage. It is a finely crafted machine to say the least! First off, my contact with both William and Wilson at Puget Systems in designing and building my Obsidian was outstanding. Every question was answered and they made suggestions to help me in the decision making process, but they did not try to upsell me. In fact, Wilson allowed me free shipping which was a plus for me to close the deal the day I was talking with him. I have had further communication with Wilson and he has been extremely helpful and when I had one question he could not help me with he told me so and referred it to Technical support. They contacted me with the answer right away. Both Wilson and Christopher have represented Puget Systems customer support in an outstanding manner. I received a customer care follow up phone call from Brett about 8 days after I had received my Obsidian. I told him that at that point I was totally happy with my purchase and customer service. He asked me about the shipping and I reported to him that my computer had arrived safely and undamaged via UPS ground. Puget's amazing packaging no doubt played a huge role in the safe arrival of my purchase. The appearance of the Obsidian in its case is awesome. It is big and that surprised me. The etching of "Puget Obsidian" is nicely designed on the front door. The ports on the front edge are very convenient and this machine is loaded with all the USB you'll ever need. It's extremely quiet so I can only imagine how quiet the Serenity would be. The computer is lightning fast and that is likely due to the combination of the 3.5 Xeon CPU, 16GBs of RAM and a 180GB SSD. I am so glad I got Windows 7 PRO with XP PRO imbedded. I feel like I have the best of two worlds with no wasted old software. I even have my old HDDs connected via cooled Rosewill enclosures and readily available for file retrieval when I need them in either W7 or XP. So, do I have any regrets about my Obsidian? Yes, one. I wish I had bitten the bullet and spent another hundred bucks or so and bought a larger SSD. It is my primary drive and at this point, between W7 and XP, my programs and OS updates, it is about 45% full. I do try to get any programs installed on my secondary drive and sometimes it works and sometimes they default to C. Well, it is what it is. I just prefer more space on my C drive for the future. This is no fault of Puget. I would recommend to anyone that they at least double their SSD choice if possible. I really liked being able to follow the build process on Pugets website. Puget even includes with your computer the extra hardware and such that they do not use that manufacturers include with their products in case you would need it for upgrading. They also include a nicely crafted manual with all your systems information. I printed out all my BIOS photos and put them into sheet covers and placed them into my manual in case I ever need them. So, why did I choose Puget Systems? It was because of their nearly perfect rating from their customers and they had a product that I was specifically looking for, the Obsidian computer. I also wanted an American made product. This computer cost more than a Dell or an HP but I believe my money was well spent. Puget uses premium quality components and hardware and they continually test these items to make sure of top quality and consistency in performance. The Obsidian is built for reliability, dependability and longevity, and that is exactly what I wanted. I got what I paid for! If there is one thing I hate about computers, it is unexpected hardware failure. Up to this point, I am very pleased with my new computer and the support I have received thus far from Pugets sales and technical support staff. It is the very best I have ever experienced. I only have one complaint, in my manual, on the cover page, my Puget Systems Team profiles are listed. There is no picture of John or his profile description. What is up with that John? No need to be shy when you are part of a company that builds one of the best products made in this country. Well, at least that what I think and I have one of your products to prove it John! Again, my many thanks to everyone at Puget Systems for building for me one heck of a machine! I can not wait to buy the next one for my wife and I will be giving you a call Wilson. Jon Bach, keep up the great everything! You have an excellent company!

Kerry P.

PS: The Asus 8 channel onboard sound is incredible! A nice plus."

"I found Puget Systems when I did a search for custom computer builders, and saw their overwhelmingly positive reviews. So I had a good feeling to begin with. Their website is well put together, with choices of quality parts, and reviews by their staff. They also interact with you just the right amount; I got an e-mail from Jeff going over my build, and making some solid suggestions, but they weren't pushy at all.

I am now at the un-boxing phase, and a couple of days in, so far all of my good feelings have been justified. The computer looks great, it runs great, and it is completely silent.

A Puget Systems computer may cost a little more than their competitors, but in life you often get what you pay for...and the extra quality that Puget provides makes them worth the price tag.

I highly recommend them."
