"Overall, an excellent shopping experience. I emailed the store owner with a question, and got an answer right away. I then placed my order which was shipped within about a hour! I received it within a couple of days, and could not have been more pleased. The watch was exactly as described and the price was great. I would highly recommend this store."

"I ordered a Chase Durer Combat Command for delivery to the UK. Unfortunately it was the wrong model, the pushers were different. Anyway I exchanged a few emails with Dan about import taxes I paid and price on posting it back for an exchange, then more import taxes on the replacement etc.So he offered a refund of $100.00 on the wrongly despatched model. Which was perfectly acceptable and saved me a lot of hassle returning it.So after the initial dis-appointment I was grateful to Dan for his help and understanding. So it was outstanding customer service to an overseas customer. My thanks to Promenade Watches and I am learning to love the watch."

"This was the first time I ordered from this company online. After finding the same price in other stores, Promenade watches had it the cheapest, by far. It was shipped promptly and I received email updates on the status of the order throughout. The watch was perfect. It was a gift for a friend, and the reaction I got from giving it was amazing. The only issue I had regarding the watch was the fit on her wrist (which is no fault to Promenade). Had to go to a jewler to size it for her. Great service and speedy delivery. Everything the website said regarding their service was true. "

"They had very competitive pricing and my item was shipped reasonably quickly but the watch I received was obviously not new. It had numerous scratches on the bracelet clasp, nor did it have any hang tags or plastic covering any portions of the watch. My guess is it was an abused floor sample they shipped me instead of a brand new watch. Becareful!!"

"Excellent service and customer contact from Dan at Promenade. I checked on availability and confirmed shipping, and we exchanged several mails as I was a bit nervous about spending so much on an O/S internet purchase. Dan was able to assure me and on placing the order I was provided with a tracking no. which I was able to follow-up until the watch reached me a week or so later. In all a fantastic experience and I am extremely happy with the watch and Promenade's thorough and professional service. Highly recommended."

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Promenade Watches.

I read the reviews here and decided to give them a go, because of the significantly lower prices than many other retailers. I placed my order on December 1st, and my credit card was charged that same day. However, a week later my order was still listed as Pending. I tried calling this "business", but all they have is a very shady sounding voicemail (sounds like cell phone voicemail). No one EVER picks up the phone. Give it a try before you buy. Call them! See what happens.

I did manage to get someone on the phone one time and was told that the watch was out of stock, but that they will update me on the status later that day. Three days later (no email, of course) I emailed them myself with some strong words. I got an immediate email response in very poor english and I quote:

"We are still waiting for the watch to come from Company.
They are behind with the orders and they send late our order.
I will check again today with them."

Basically telling me that they are behind with all their orders, so I'm not to feel special? Also, I doubt anyone ever checked with anyone, because that was a couple of days ago.

The email did try to appease me by stating that the online status of my order has been changed from "Pending" to "Processing". As if that fact alone should put me at ease about my $200+ purchase.

I have just emailed them again asking for an update. It's getting too close to the holidays for me to feel calm about this, so I will be cancelling my order today and buying elsewhere even if it costs me more money."

"I ordered a matching set of watches to surprise my wife for our 10th anniversary. PromenadeWatches sent a shipped notice, but FedEx didn't pick it up until a couple days later. I e-mailed them a regretfully nasty e-mail, but they responded very politely. They refunded my shipping, somehow got FedEx to change the shipment to priority, and got the watches to me on time. Overall it turned out to be an excellent experience. I have since pointed multiple co-workers to PromenadeWatches and will continue to shop there myself."

"My original purchase had to be cancelled and the money refunded, they thought they had 1 left and could not locate it, I received prompt communication and an immediate refund. Several days later I received an email from the Sales Manager, informing me they did find the watch and would hold it for 48 hours if I still wished to purchase the item.
You never know how customer service will be when shopping online, especially when something goes wrong. I was treated very fairly and the communication was excellent, I have purchased watches in the past from them and will certainly continue to do so. I would highly recommend this company.

"I looked all over for a discontinued Seiko watch, and Dan at Promenade Watches was the only retailer willing to look into finding the watch for me. He located the watch, and called me so that I could place the order, and told me he would wait for the order. I received the watch today as promised and I could not be more satisfied with the service and the product. While watches are not an every day purchase, I will definately buy from Promenade again, and I will tell all who will listen about the great service I received from this retailer!"

"Promenade is a Great Company! My Watch arrived very quickly, Easy to contact by phone. Quick reply by email. Gave me just what I wanted at a great price. Chase Durer said I could trust them. Would definitely do business with again!"

"I bought for my girlfriends birthday, a Tissot watch from "promenadewatches dot com". I did not see the Paypal option and paid direct with the Visa card.
That was on Wednesday 10 September, 2008. Yesterday I still did not received the watch. I have tried numerous times to contact the seller on e-mail and on the phone; no reply to emails, phones redirected to answering machine. Today as I enter on the site to see the status of my order I see "Canceled". That is after I have waited for the f... watch for 20 days. I have called my bank and the seller did not refound the money. Obviously, my girfrinds birthday has passed and she is still waiting for her present"

"Do not order watches from here, I ordered a watch 3 weeks ago, still do not have it. When I called a week ago I was told it was due to them being out of stock of that watch. Why cant this site have told me that when I was ordering the watch? Why couldnt they have sent an email telling me the watch was out of stock so im up to date on the order. They certainly had no problem taking my money 2 and a half weeks before the order shipped.

Watch finally shipped after almost 3 weeks, apparently they have never shipped a box through fedex either because my shipment was delayed to the label being "illegible" and placed on the box incorrectly. So the 2 day shipping I paid for is now 5 day. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, try one of the other thousand of watch sites that actually have their stuff together and know how to run a proper business. I will never visit / shop from this site again even if they are half off of the competition for my next watch...shameful"

"I was very excited to order a particular watch. This seller claimed to ship as soon as payment was received. I placed the order on a Thursday morning, and by the next Thursday evening the watch still had not shipped. They were apologetic and offered to upgrade shipping, which I accepted, but then they simply canceled the order without consulting me. I will not ever order from this outfit again. Very disappointing. I'm just crossing my fingers that I get the refund. "
